(Tim Jukes). From Zeiss hide 298 Teal, eight Pintails, 16 Wigeon, three Avocets, 22 Ruff, five Snipe, a Little Grebe and a Marsh Harrier. Purton     Late afternoon along the banks of the Severn three Pink-footed Geese on the sand bank, landed briefly then flew off downstream. Also four Little Egrets, 19 Wigeon, a Common Sandpiper, 22 Mute Swans seen on the canal and two Cetti’s Warblers heard. (Neil Smart).
