WWT Slimbridge     The COLLARED PRATINCOLE was on the Top New Piece early on, but spent most of the day on South Lake, giving much better views. At 3:35pm it flew high SW towards the Zeiss hide. Nailsworth     Another heavy movement of thrushes along the Nailsworth Valley involving thousands of birds. Short counts at various times logged 1420+ Redwings and 795+ Fieldfares, a small sample of those which were passing. (Terry Grant).

It went missing for long periods but returned at 12:50am, then again at 3:15pm until 3:30pm at least. (Scott Petrek). Another 20+ House Sparrows at the cowsheds at the end of Warth Lane, with 20+ Goldfinches, 5+ Linnets, six Collared Doves and two Pied Wagtails. (MK).

Painswick Beacon     A morning watch from 8am to 11:30am 5130 Redwings, 2230 Fieldfares, 185 Skylarks, 61Song Thrushes, two Hawfinches, 400 Chaffinches and 161 Meadow Pipits. (John Fleming). Between 1-4pm a near continuous movement of thrushes until 2:30pm before tailing off, 4100 Redwings, 1480 Fieldfares, 18 Bramblings and two Hawfinches. (Francis Steuck).
