Gloucester     At Horsebere Brook Flood storage lake birds included a pair of Stonechats, a Reed Bunting, 11 Teal, eight Mallards, a Grey Heron, 25+ Redwings, five Chaffinches and 20+ Goldfinches. Also 7 or 8 waders, flushed by a dog from the reeds and only seen briefly in flight, were probably Redshanks. (Caroline Quinn).

WWT Slimbridge     A juvenile Tundra Bean Goose on the Rushy this morning. Unfortunately the hides are closed currently but it maybe visible on the webcam. Later the Tundra Bean Goose was touring the fields with Greylags and an adult Pink-footed Goose. Probably worth checking Greylag flocks in the entrance road fields. (Martin McGill).

Frampton pools     A female Goldeneye, 145 Tufted Ducks, two Shovelers, 24 Gadwalls, ten Mallards, three Teal, a Shelduck, three Cetti’s Warblers, a Kingfisher, 28 Cormorants, a Water Rail, two Siskins, two Nuthatches, a Tawny Owl, a male Blackcap and 40+ Golden Plovers over. Over the garden a CATTLE EGRET, six Little Egrets, 12 Cormorants, a Snipe and three Mute Swans. In the garden a female Blackcap, two Coal Tits, 22 Starlings and seven Long-tailed Tits. Bussage     A LESSER SPOTTED WOODPECKER at Toadsmoor Pond at 8:15am this morning drumming and then flew across the lake. Also two Grey Heron, a Little Grebe, 30 Long-tailed Tits and at least four Bramblings and two Siskins with several Chaffinches and Linnets and a Snipe flushed from the margins near the footpath. A female Blackcap, a Coal Tit and three Greenfinches on garden feeders, a Raven calling and four Buzzards over. Didmarton     At Hinnegar Wood today one probably two Hawfinches, a Brambling, 320+ Chaffinches, 35 + Blackbirds, mainly first-winter birds, 110+ Redwings and 230+ Fieldfares. (Terry Grant).

May Hill     Ten Crossbills including at least four males initially feeding in stand of pines on the top at SO695213, then moved to hawthorn amongst bracken apparently going down to drink from a pool in the gorse scrub. (Richard, Becky & Cerys Lansdown).
