Painswick Beacon     Passage over the Beacon today included 22 Golden Plovers, 870 Common Gulls, 11 Stock Doves, 190 Woodpigeons, 122 Fieldfares, 30 Redwings, nine Meadow Pipits and two Siskins. Near the farm 42 Yellowhammers, two linnets, 32 Chaffinches, five Goldfinches and 13 Skylarks. (John Fleming).

Halmore     A singing Chiffchaff today. Also a female Siskin in the garden on 16th and 17th. (Chris Newton).

Forest of Dean     At Clearwell Meend two Chiffchaffs singing. (first this year). (Alan Waterman).

Symonds Yat    From the viewpoint today the Peregrine pair, who were mating occasionally, a Red Kite, two Goshawks, a female Sparrowhawk, a pair of Kestrels displaying, six Buzzards, the Raven pair, a Chiffchaff, a Tawny Owl calling, a pair of Goldcrests, a pair of Marsh Tits, a Pied Wagtail, a pair of Long-tailed Tits, a pair of Goosanders, a pair of Stock Doves, and 14 Fallow Deer. WWT Slimbridge    Today on South Lake two drake GARGANEYS, also a Spotted Redshank,c40 Avocets, a Dunlin and c60 Black-tailed Godwits. (Dave Hughes/Geoff Moyser/Roberta Goodall). Also a 3rd calendar year Mediterranean Gull on South Lake. (Mark Dowie).

Ashleworth Ham     A drake GARGANEY from 12:46pm today until 5:40pm at least. (Rob Clipson).

Hawling     The GREAT GREY SHRIKE still at SP053218 today. Also a Red Kite and c150 Golden Plovers. (Hugh Manistre).

Frampton     18 Sand Martins dropped into the Sailing Lake at 7:30am then flew N towards Court Lake, later at 9:15am at least 35 Sand Martins on the Sailing Lake. Down Marsh Lane no sign of the shrike but 64 Fieldfares and a Redwing flew N and a grounded flock of 30 Lapwings. An adult Yellow-legged Gull on a telegraph pole at 9:30am then flew towards the Sailing Lake. (MK). 90 Sand Martins on the Sailing Lake at 10:30am. (Mark Dowie). A Spotted Redshank, a Green Sandpiper, four Oystercatchers, two Black-tailed Godwits and two Sand Martin on the flashes N of Splatt Bridge. (Gordon Hodgson). This evening at Court Lake roost three CATTLE EGRETS, a GREAT WHITE EGRET and 35 Little Egrets also four Oystercatchers. (Nick Goatman).

Saul Warth     A male Wheatear, a Rock Pipit, 30 Shelducks and a large female Peregrine. Also 9+ Knot, 11 Black-tailed Godwits and 50+ Curlews flew off of the Warth and landed on Frampton flashes. (MK).

Gloucester     At Port Ham two Canada Geese, unusual here, three Meadow Pipits and a Cetti’s warbler singing. At Horsebere Brook Flood Storage Lake four Sand Martins, two Little Egrets and ten Meadow Pipits. (Ian Elphick).

Forest of Dean     From New Fancy View between 10am and 3pm nine Goshawks, two Peregrines, two Sparrowhawks, 15+ Buzzards, 12 Ravens, and birds seen flying below included two Hawfinches, two Crossbills, 15 Siskins, and a GREAT GREY SHRIKE. Ready Token     This afternoon mixed finches mainly on electricity wires along the Welsh Way near Ready Token, 27 Goldfinches, eight Linnets, three Corn Buntings, a male Reed Bunting and 12 Chaffinches. Also a Red Kite over, a Kestrel, seven Skylarks, a male Blackcap, three Brimstones and a Small Tortoiseshell. Forest of Dean     The GREAT GREY SHRIKE still at Crabtree Hill this afternoon until 5:10pm at least.It caught a bumblebee in flight and was singing. (John & Kevin Widgery). Tewkesbury     At Severn Ham two pairs of Curlew, and a fifth bird but seen off, a Kingfisher along Mill Avon, five Skylarks and two Reed Buntings today. (Mike Smart).

Thrupp     A Water Rail at Griffin Mill Lock today. (Keith & Lyn Perkins).
