Frampton     A SWIFT over the sailing lake at lunchtime. This morning a LESSER WHITETHROAT singing in the scrub there. (Nick Goatman).

Cleeve Hill     Five RING OUZELS still on the slopes above the heather enclosure late morning. (Ali Clifton Barnard/Sue Wadham).

Highnam Woods     A Nightingale still singing from 6:30-9am at least today. Please note the car park is closed. If approaching from Gloucester there is pull-in parking for 3 cars on the left c200m after the reserve entrance. (MK).

WWT Slimbridge     The DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE on the Dumbles still and the SPOONBILL on the Top New Piece this morning. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning a Greenshank, a Ringed Plover and four Oystercatchers. (Ian Ralphs).

Tewkesbury     This morning at Upper Lode a few Swallows and many Sand Martins feeding around the lock, Chiffchaffs, a Whitethroat and Blackcaps around the lakeside scrub. A Tawny Owl calling from deep in private property. At The Mythe NR a Snipe, many Blackcaps, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Whitethroat and two Garden Warblers heard. (Les Ditchburn).

Kingswood     At 8am a Blackcap, a Willow Warbler and at least five Chiffchaffs in the hedgerow and coppices along Vineyard Lane and Park Mill Farm. Two Linnets in ploughed fields just beyond Park Mill Farm. Also four Skylarks, two Swallows and a Yellow Wagtail. (Tom McCarthy).

North Cerney    16+ Yellowhammers and a male Corn Bunting singing along the farm track from Chapel Lane  this morning. (Dave Soons).
