Saul Warth Early morning high tide seven Avocets, 11 Curlews, three Whimbrels, 16 Bar-tailed Godwits, five Grey Plovers, 25 Ringed Plovers, two Sanderlings, 20 Dunlins, four Oystercatchers, a Common Sandpiper, a Little Egret, 20 Shelducks, three Mandarins (2m), a Red Kite, two Lesser Whitethroats, two Whitethroats, a male Blackcap, two Chiffchaffs, seven Swallows and a male Reed Bunting. Kingswood A Goshawk flew from Nind reserve towards Ozleworth this evening. A steady arrival of Swallows today with c20 in and around the village. A Grey Plover in ploughed fields near Ash Path. Also a Stonechat, a Whitethroat and two Linnets and a Reed Bunting was a garden tick. (Tom McCarthy).
Forest of Dean At Nagshead a pair of Mandarins, three Redstarts (1m), a male Pied Flycatcher, four Crossbills (2m), a Treecreeper , six Mistle Thrushes, a Grey Wagtail, a Garden Warbler, three Blackcaps, three Chiffchaffs, a Willow Warbler and male & female Beautiful Damselfly.
