Saul Warth     Between 6-9am at high tide a SPOONBILL, which flew back to WWT at 6:10am, three Mandarins (2m, 1f), 40 Shelducks, a Turnstone, four Knot, c150 Dunlins, c300 Ringed Plovers, 24 Sanderlings, three Bar-tailed Godwits, seven Whimbrels, ten Curlews, six Oystercatchers, a Common Tern, four Skylarks, 100 House Martins, a Sand Martin and 20 Swallows. WWT Slimbridge    This afternoon five first-summer Mediterranean Gulls on the Rushy. (Tim McGrath). A Common Crane and one chick on South Lake today. The Dark-bellied Brent Goose and the Tundra Bean Goose on the Dumbles. The BITTERN flew into the Pill Box pool reedbed. (Roberta Goodall). Also at least 20 Avocets on the Rushy and 20+ around the reserve. Many Reed Warblers and a Sedge Warbler from Zeiss hide, with more Sedge Warblers around the reserve. A Ruff, a distant Marsh Harrier, a Buzzard with a vole and c30 Black-tailed Godwits from Zeiss hide. (Paul Sutton).

Forest of Dean     At Nagshead this morning, a pair of Spotted Flycatchers, at least six Pied Flycatchers, a Redstart heard, a Firecrest, a Siskin and two Garden Warblers. (Steve Rickard).

Lydney     Two Common Terns over the Boating Lake at 8:30am today. (Ian Rogers).

Winchcombe     A Cuckoo heard calling this afternoon. (Andrew Worthington).

Longney Crib     Late afternoon a Redshank, an Oystercatcher, a Common Sandpiper, three Shelducks, five Mallards, two Grey Herons, two Cormorants, seven Sedge Warblers, three Swallows, nine Sand Martins, a Buzzard, a Kestrel, 100+ corvids mixed Rooks and Crows and 35 Lesser Black-backed Gulls.
