WWT Slimbridge     A mobile RED-NECKED PHALAROPE on the Rushy and was also reported on the Tack Piece. It was first seen at 4:10pm on the Rushy, but was quickly flushed by Avocets. It returned a few minutes later, was flushed again, and was then seen once more, for c5 minutes at 4:30pm. (John Marshall). A WOOD SANDPIPER on the Top New Piece from Zeiss hide this afternoon. (Steve Pullen). A GANNET landed on the far side of the river and the LITTLE GULL dropped below the Dumbles edge. (Julian Gould).

Cassey Compton     Two singing Redstarts, a Red Kite and several Stock Doves today. (Steve Brown).

Berkeley     Six Swifts over fields between Berkeley and Newport at noon today. (David Ashbee).

Hampton Fields (Crackstone)     No sign of the Quail at 4pm. Two Whitethroats, a Meadow Pipit, two Skylarks, a male and a juvenile Stonechat, a Kestrel, two Swallows and a Corn Bunting. (Mil Petkovic).
