Coombe Hill Meadows    Eight White Storks circling over at 9:46 this morning, then flew S. (John Casswell/David Douglas). Also this morning two Buzzards, two Bullfinches, three Redstarts, a Greenfinch, a family of four Whitethroats, three Shovelers, lots of Swallows and House Martins. Also 6+ Southern Migrant Hawkers, three Migrant Hawkers, two Brown Hawkers. 5+ Willow Emerald Damselflies and two Hornet Mimic Hoverflies. (Paul Clark).

WWT Slimbridge     Two SANDWICH TERNS flew S past Middle Point going fast down river at 9:40am. A Wheatear on the fence at Middle Point and the escaped female Greater Flamingo off of the point. Two Greenshanks on the Tack Piece. At least three Spotted Redshanks on the Rushy, also two Common Terns and a juvenile Little Grebe. (Ian Ralphs). The WOOD SANDPIPER still on the Tack Piece. (Paul Rich). A second year Mediterranean Gull in the gull flock off of Middle Point. (Ian Hull).

Elmore Court      In the rewilding area early this morning birds included two Whinchats with six Stonechats, a Willow Warbler, four Nuthatches and three Grey Herons and two Foxes in a recently cut field. (Steve Pullen).

Halmore     This morning around the fields off Slimbridge Lane three Whitethroats, two male Bullfinches, a Greenfinch, four Linnets, two Mistle Thrushes, three Buzzards and male and female hunting Kestrels. (Chris Newton).

Little Farmcote    A Wheatear on the Winchcombe Way (Salt Way) at SP047284. (Rob Crofton).

Awre     This evening 11 Dunlins and two Common Sandpipers. The escaped female Greater Flamingo, seven Whimbrels and 400+ Curlews on the Slimbridge side. (Dan Watson).

Edge     At Rudge Hill N.R. a family of Spotted Flycatchers, a juvenile Whitethroat, a Willow Warbler, Buzzards over and a Mistle Thrush. Butterflies included Clouded Yellow, Small Heath, Brown Argus, Gatekeeper, Large White, Small Copper, Common Blues, Meadow Brown, Speckled Wood and a Silver washed Fritillary in Stockend Wood.
