Ebworth Estate     Along the drive from the car park a Whinchat and a Redstart where the tarmac starts, on the first substantial drystone wall two Whinchats, two Wheatears and two Whitethroats. Northleach     A second hand report of a Rose-coloured Starling seen in a Northleach back garden, apparently photographed, but no further details. Possibly same as the Cirencester bird at the end of July. (per Jon Mercer).

Other birds included Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Whitethroat, a female Blackcap, a Bullfinch, Linnets, Goldfinches, a Skylark, Swallows, Long-tailed Tits, Coal Tits, a Chiffchaff, a Treecreeper, a Nuthatch and a Buzzard. Cherington     Around the lake and around surrounding wooded areas this afternoon birds included two Spotted Flycatchers, three Linnets, two Grey Wagtails, a Treecreeper, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Sparrowhawk, a Red Kite, a Buzzard, a Grey Heron, five Moorhens, two Canada Geese and three Mallards. Ashleworth Ham    A CES ringing session this morning 38 birds caught including a juvenile Kingfisher, two Redstarts, nine Whitethroats, a Lesser Whitethroat, four Blackcaps, two Chiffchaffs, a Willow Warbler, a Treecreeper, two Bullfinches and three Reed Buntings.
