At Beckbury Camp on the top by Cromwell’s Seat male and female Redstart, male and female Blackcap, 12 House Martins, a Red Kite and two Ravens. (John Fletcher).

Frampton pools     This evening two Yellow Wagtails, 80+ Swifts and eight Common Terns. This morning a pair of Oystercatchers with three young on Court Lake middle island, a Great Crested Grebe with young on her back, two juvenile Grey Wagtails and a juvenile Pied Wagtail. Whitminster     A Little Owl sat on a gate opposite the Old Forge at 8:30am. (Tanya Allen).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A Lesser Whitethroat singing near the car park, a Swift, c20 House Martins, two Cuckoos, two Reed Warblers, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Common Tern, ten Cormorants and waders including Lapwings, Avocets, Little Ringed Plovers, Redshanks, Curlew and Oystercatchers. Hardwicke to Saul    A pair of Great Crested Grebes with three well-grown young on the canal between Parkend Bridge and Saul Junction this morning, between Sellars Bridge and Parkend Bridge five Reed Warblers, two Sedge Warblers, a Whitethroat, two Chiffchaffs and two Muntjacs. (Paul Masters).

Cleeve Hill     At the Bill Smyllie reserve today a  Cuckoo, two Tree Pipits, a pair of Mistle Thrushes, two Buzzards, Skylarks, Swallows, a Red Kite, Blackcaps, Whitethroats, Stock Doves and Linnets. Other sightings include a Roebuck, Garden Chafers, Five spot Burnet moths, Small White, Painted Lady, numerous Small Blues, Common Blue, Brown Argus, a Duke of Burgundy, a Dingy Skipper and Small Heath butterflies. Forest of Dean     Just below Ruardean near Ragman’s Lane Farm three Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Willow Warbler, six Chiffchaffs, seven Blackcaps, a Garden Warbler, two Goldcrests singing, a Spotted Flycatcher singing, a pair of Bullfinches and four Ravens. Tewkesbury     Belated news from the 26th March 2022. The raptor group were sent this amazing photo by the mother of 10 year old Hope, who took it just before noon in Northway, Tewkesbury. Incredible to get Red Kite and Buzzard in the same shot. Tracks of the tagged birds show that it was one of the Isle of Wight releases passing through. (per Gordon Kirk).
