Barrow Hill     This evening a Grasshopper Warbler reeling down by the River Chelt. (Jeremy Squire).

Prestbury Hill     This afternoon a Tree Pipit, a Cuckoo, a Mistle Thrush and a Whitethroat. Also a Grass Snake and a Green Hairstreak. (David Benton).

Hawling    At Southdown Farm this afternoon four Wheatears (2m, 2f). Also a Red Kite, a Peregrine, a Buzzard, a Stock Dove and a Large Red Damselfly in the area. (Keith White).

Stinchcombe Hill     This morning a male Redstart calling constantly in bushes near 4th tee, Tree Pipit, at least six Wheatears (5m, 1f), two Siskins and a few Linnets and Meadow Pipits over. (James Robinson).

Rodborough Common     Two male Wheatears this morning. Also a Green Hairstreak. (James Robinson).

Tewkesbury     A Common Sandpiper along the River Severn between Forthampton and Chaceley. (Sarah Loaring).

Cleeve Hill   In the masts field two Tree Pipits, a male and a female Redstart, at least seven Willow Warblers and a Cuckoo. At the top of the common just beyond the masts car park at least five Wheatears, two Kestrels, lots of Meadow Pipits and Skylarks and at least two pairs of Stonechats. (Alex Barclay).

Cheltenham     Along the footpath from Hewletts Reservoir to Northfield Farm, two Ravens, a Green Woodpecker, two Stock Doves, 2/3 singing Redstarts, a pair of
Blackcaps and a Treecreeper.  Also an Orange Tip butterfly. (Steve Brown).

Amberley     At Theescombe Lane a Red Kite flying N up the valley this morning at 9am. Four Siskins in birch trees and coming down to feeders. Greenfinch, Blackcap, and Goldcrests all singing. (Phil Williams).

Frampton     Along the towpath N of Splatt Bridge on the canal and flashes this morning a second-summer MEDITERRANEAN GULL, a pair of Mandarins, six Common Sandpipers, eight Redshanks, five Dunlins, 13 Bar-tailed Godwits, a Green Sandpiper through N, a late Fieldfare N, 1+ Reed Warbler, a Grasshopper Warbler, 40 Sand Martins, three Yellow Wagtails, three Whitethroats and a Willow Warbler. Berkeley shore     This morning nine Shelducks, two Whimbrels, five Yellow Wagtails, four Siskins, four Oystercatchers, a Curlew and a movement of Swallows and Meadow Pipits moving N, also singing Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, Blackcap and Reed Warbler. (Neil Smart).

Arlingham    Three Wheatears, two Avocets and two late Fieldfares along the Severn this morning. (James Robinson).

Ashleworth Ham     A Dunlin, 42 Mallards, eight Wigeon, six Teal, two Little Egrets, three Curlews and 17 Mute Swans on Hasfield Ham. Along Stank Lane a Garden Warbler, four Redstarts, four Willow Warblers, six Chiffchaffs and a Whitethroat. (Richard Humphrey). At dawn 16 Mute Swans, 14 Canada Geese, four Greylags, four Wigeon, 15 Teal, three Sparrowhawks together, three Curlews, a Green Sandpiper and at least three Redstarts singing. (Mike Smart).

Nympsfield     A Whitethroat, a Willow Warbler, three Wheatears and 11 late Fieldfares with a Redwing this morning. (Dave Emery).

Forest of Dean     At Nagshead this morning a pair of Pied Flycatchers, a Grey Wagtail, a Treecreeper and a pair of Mandarin at the Lower hide. At Parkend a Dipper on Cannop brook behind the Fountain Inn, nearby, a Treecreeper, and a drumming Great Spotted Woodpecker heard. Cleeve Hill    An adult male HEN HARRIER flew over near the radio masts at 2:10pm. (Steve Owen). This morning four RING OUZELS (3m, 1f), a Red Kite, three Yellowhammers, a male Redstart, two Wheatears, a Willow Warbler and at least one Cuckoo heard. (Martin Price). Late morning in the field just E of the radio masts car park at least five Wheatears , in the same field a Mistle Thrush carrying food, a Red Kite, a Cuckoo heard S of the car park, a singing Corn Bunting in the E section of the common, several Willow Warblers and a Tree Pipit heard in the trees below the masts reserve. Frampton     A first-summer LITTLE GULL still, two Common Terns, a Grasshopper Warbler, two Mandarins and a Common Sandpiper at the Sailing Lake this morning at 7:45am. (Mark Dowie/Les Ditchburn). From the towpath N of at Splatt Bridge early morning a Cuckoo flew N and called once, a male Whinchat, a male Wheatear, two Common Sandpipers, two pairs of Mandarins and a Water Rail. This afternoon a Redwing in the first horse paddock on the right after Fretherne Bridge on the Arlingham Road at 2pm. (MK).

Halmore     A Cuckoo today, in the woods birds included three Blackcaps, two Nuthatches, two Song Thrushes and many Chiffchaffs. Siskins still in the garden daily. A pair of Shelducks over. A Little Owl heard last night. (Chris Newton).

Ryeford to Eastington     Along the River Frome six Greenfinches, a Dipper, three Green Woodpeckers, a Raven, a Grey Heron, a Grey Wagtail, eight Chiffchaffs, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers and a Cetti’s Warbler at Bonds Mill. (Simon Spedding).

Tewkesbury     From Lower Lode to Chaceley Stock ten Mute Swans grazing, two Canada Geese, a Cormorant, three Mandarins (2m, 1f), five Mallards, a Cuckoo, c40 Sand Martins, three Redstarts, two Whitethroats and a Willow Warbler. At Lower Lode brickpits two Mute Swans, a Gadwall, 11 Tufted Ducks, a Grey Heron, three Cormorants, a Great Crested Grebe, a Swallow and a Blackcap. (Mike Smart).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Three Yellow Wagtails, six Avocets, four Redshanks, two Curlews, two Oystercatchers, two Swallow, 12 Sand Martins and two Ravens today. (Nigel Sluman).

WWT Slimbridge     A Bar-tailed Godwit on the mud distantly N of Mid Point at midday.  Viewed from screens 11 Avocets and three Black-tailed Godwits on the Rushy at 2:30 pm, a Peregrine flushed the Bottom New Piece at 3.30 pm. (Andy & Sue Gibbons).
