Cold Aston     Late afternoon in a field N of Cold Aston (E of Folly Farm) a ringtail HEN HARRIER. Also a Raven heard and House Martins, Chiffchaffs, Blackcaps and Orange Tip butterflies in the area. (Keith White).

Hardwicke     Along the canal N of Parkend Bridge five Sedge Warblers, a Reed Warbler and a Lesser Whitethroat. (Paul Masters).

Ashleworth Ham     At 1pm from the viewing screen at Meerend Thicket 13 Mute Swans, a Shelduck, a drake Wigeon, c8 Mallard ducklings, three Lapwings and a Grey Heron. This morning along Stank Lane at least six singing Redstarts (3m seen), also 2+ Whitethroats and a Willow Warbler singing. (Andy & Sue Gibbons).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This afternoon many Sedge Warblers and Whitethroats, a Peregrine over and two Gadwalls. (Paul Clark).

Longney     In the old orchards including the Severn Way by the Old fish house and surrounding hedgerows this afternoon birds included four Sedge Warblers, nine Blackcaps, five Chiffchaffs, four Willow Warblers, a Greenfinch, seven Goldfinches, a Swallow, three Song Thrushes, three Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Buzzard, a pair of Mallards, a Red-legged Partridge and 300+ Woodpigeons in the surrounding fields. Frampton     An adult and a first-summer LITTLE GULLS on the Sailing Lake. A Grasshopper Warbler still reeling nearby and the Ross’s Goose on Court field. Also today five Black-tailed Godwits, a Bar-Tailed Godwit, a Common Sandpiper, eight Swifts, 12 Swallows, eight House Martins, 100+ Sand Martins, ten Whitethroats, a Lesser Whitethroat, a Sedge Warbler, two Cetti’s Warblers, a Hobby and a male Pintail.
