Ashleworth Ham     This morning birds included two Red-legged Partridges, seven Curlews, five Lapwings, a Black-tailed Godwit, eight Snipe, four Grey Herons, six Little Egrets, five Canada Geese, six Greylags, 20+Shovelers, c30 Teal, c20 Wigeon, two pairs of Tufted Ducks, 25 Coots, two Buzzards and two Chiffchaffs. Leonard Stanley     A pair of Marsh Tits this morning at the top of Gypsy Lane. (Simon Spedding).

Forest of Dean     At Woorgreens/Crabtree Hill this afternoon four Stonechats, a Raven, a pair of Mandarins and a Buzzard. (Dave Abrams & Hannah Willoughby).

Frampton Mansell    Along the canal a Willow Warbler heard, nearby two Kingfishers, a Dipper, a pair of Mandarins and several Blackcaps singing. (Phil Pope).

Tewkesbury     A Curlew flew low over Tewkesbury N.R. this morning and a Swallow heading N. (Pete Long). 15 Wigeon and 25 Teal at Mitton. (Mike Smart).

Stroud     Three Sand Martins this morning over Lypiatt. (Roy Bircher).

Hampton Fields     A Red Kite and a singing Chiffchaff today. (Terry Grant).

Chapman’s Cross     A Red Kite, a singing Chiffchaff and a Long-tailed Tit building a nest in a low hedge. (Terry Grant).

Calcot Manor     A Red Kite, a male Wheatear, six Sand Martins flying W, two Swallows, a Willow Warbler and a pair of Stonechats. (Terry Grant).

Maisemore     Either side of Church Road, along the lake to the weir and to the upper parting this afternoon two Sand Martins, two Grey Wagtails, five Chiffchaffs, two Goldfinches, a Greenfinch, two Song Thrushes, a Goldcrest, three Long-tailed Tits, two Stock Doves, a Cormorant, three Buzzards, 15 Mallards, four Moorhens, two Canada Geese, two Mute Swans and a Brimstone. Frampton    The first-winter BONAPARTE’S GULL on the Sailing Lake all day until 4pm at least, favouring the far end of the lake again, but at times elusive. Also two very brief SANDWICH TERNS, a first-winter MEDITERRANEAN GULL and a Willow Warbler. (Rich Hearn/Paul McGowan). Also today a Common Gull, 350+ Sand Martins, 21 Chiffchaffs, seven Blackcaps, a Siskin, 21 Meadow Pipits, a Curlew, two Ravens, 18 Gadwalls and 90 Tufted Ducks. (Nick Goatman).

Saul Warth    Early morning at high tide a male Wheatear and a WATER PIPIT near the new fence towards Hock Ditch. Also 21 Curlews and a Little Egret. (MK). This afternoon six KITTIWAKES for 5 minutes then gained height and disappeared into the murk. Also 11 Ringed Plovers, a Dunlin, a Sand Martin and the Wheatear still. (Gordon Hodgson).

Cam/Dursley     A Dipper by the river on the Littlecombe Estate in Cam this morning and a Green Woodpecker behind Rednock School. (Donna Cook).

Netheridge Farm     A Willow Warbler at the Barn Owl Centre this morning. (Mark Hobson).

Newnham-on-Severn     This afternoon a 3rd calendar year MEDITERRANEAN GULL on the river and six Sand Martins heading SW. (Lewis Thomson).

Cheltenham    A Little Egret in the grounds of Pittville School this morning  later flew over the fence onto Wyman’s Brook and walking out of sight. Also a Coal Tit and nesting Nuthatches. (Steve Emerson).

Berkeley    A male MERLIN, c40 Turnstones and a male Wheatear at the shore this morning. Also a Red Kite from the garden SW over Whitcliff Park at 11:30am. (Paul Taylor).

Hawling     At Larkhill Farm six Fieldfares, six Bramblings, four Skylarks, a Corn Bunting and a Treecreeper. (Dave Clarke).

Huntley     A male Brambling amongst a group of Chaffinches in the garden today. (Bob Phelps).

Forest of Dean    Near Newland early afternoon a pair of Dippers at Valley Brook, 2 or 3 Skylarks near Rookery Lane and a Red Kite over the church at Newland at 1:45pm. (Andrew McDermid & Louise Watson).

Prestbury     Seven Red Kites and four Buzzards circling at 11:40am today just E of Prestbury at the bottom of Cleeve Hill. At 12:15pm four Buzzards over the High Street. (Ken Heron).

Cheltenham     A Peregrine on the tower at Christchurch church today. (Eric Harris).

Ashleworth Ham     A GREAT WHITE EGRET flew out of the main drainage ditch by the church next to the Severn and landed 50m further up. On the reserve 41 Black-tailed Godwits, five Little Egrets, a male Peregrine, three Curlews, a passage of at least 70 Sand Martins and 30 Swallows. Also two Roe Deer. (Richard Humphrey).

Coombe Hill Meadows    Two Mute Swans, two Canada Geese, seven Shelducks, 40 Wigeon, 30 Teal, 20 Mallards, four Pintails, 15 Shovelers, three Tufted Ducks, five Coots, two Oystercatchers, five Avocets, 5+ Lapwings, two Little Ringed Plovers, a Snipe, nine Black-tailed Godwits, four Redshanks, c5 singing Skylarks, a Pied Wagtail together with three White Wagtails, at least five singing Chiffchaffs and 5+ Reed Buntings. Frampton     A first-winter BONAPARTE’S GULL on the Sailing Lake from 4:30pm until 6:35pm at least, favouring the far end of the lake. The first record for the Pools. (Nick Goatman).

Ashleworth Ham     A SANDWICH TERN flew southwards in front of the hide at 2:30pm. Two Little Egrets, six Mute Swans, 13 Greylags, four Canada Geese, 42 Wigeon, 84 Teal, 50 Shovelers, 16 Mallards, three Tufted Ducks, two Pintails, two Gadwalls, four Shelducks, 73 Black-tailed Godwits, two Oystercatchers, four Lapwings, seven Curlews, 24 Snipe, 29 Coots, three Moorhen, a Water Rail calling, a WILLOW WARBLER sang once at 12:39pm, a female Peregrine, four Buzzards over the river with three towards Coombe Hill at the same time, at least 16 Sand Martins and at least 12 Swallows. Bishops Cleeve     The Alexandrine Parakeet still at 11:30am. (Ken Heron).

Stinchcombe Hill     A male Wheatear this morning and a Crossbill heading E. (James Robinson/Mike Davis).

Nailsworth     A male Peregrine hunting over the valley and 12+ Buzzards. (Terry Grant).

Chavenage Lane area     240+ Fieldfares, 40+ Redwings, 18+ Buzzards and at least 173 Golden Plovers, many in summer plumage, feeding in fields. (Terry Grant).

Tewkesbury    In meadows along the Severn, S of Lower Lode eight Mute Swans, 15 Canada Geese, eight Mallards and two Teal, two Oystercatchers, at least two Curlews and a Sand Martin. At Lower Lode brickpits two Mute Swans, two Shelducks, two Gadwalls, ten Tufted Ducks, a GREAT WHITE EGRET, a Grey Heron, ten Cormorants, two Great Crested Grebes and a Little Grebe whinnying. Coombe Hill Meadows     Two Curlews, a Common Sandpiper, two Ringed Plovers, two Dunlins, a Little Egret and a Sand Martin. (Eric Harris). Also eight Lapwings, a Redshank, eight Pied Wagtails, a pair of Pintails, Wigeon ,several Teal and two Shelducks. A Sparrowhawk mobbing a larger raptor, probably a ringtail Hen Harrier. (Alan Baxter).

Aylburton Common     A Red Kite again today at 4:20pm. (Martin Vaisey). Also a Goshawk and a Peregrine over this afternoon. (Jonny Gentle).

Cleeve Hill     A Goshawk attacking Buzzards over the Bill Smiley Nature Reserve at 3pm. (Jeremy Squire).
