WWT Slimbridge     The second calendar year BONAPARTE’S GULL again today, for the first time since the initial sighting on 28th February. The reserve is closed but there is a chance of finding it on suitable habitat nearby. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Frampton     From the towpath N of Splatt Bridge early morning an adult MEDITERRANEAN GULL, 20 Redshanks, 34 Curlews, a Bar-tailed Godwit, four Oystercatchers, a Goshawk stirring up the 100-acre then flew over the river. Witcombe Reservoirs     On the WeBS count this morning birds included 12 Canada Geese, eight Mute Swans, 15 Mallards, two Teal, 17 Tufted Ducks, three Little Grebes, seven Great Crested Grebes, three Cormorants, three Moorhens, ten Coots, 37 Black-headed Gulls, a Herring Gull, a Lesser Black-backed Gull and two Siskins.
