Prestbury     A Red Kite at 11:50am circling over the lower part of Mill Lane. A MEALY REDPOLL at the E end of Shaw Green Lane at 12:13pm. A WATER PIPIT with a mixed flock of Redwings, Chaffinches, Tits and Meadow Pipits all feeding on the ground at the top of the lane. They were all flushed by a Muntjac. They were all feeding in the area of ancient troughs in the field. (Ken Heron).

Mitton, near Tewkesbury     On a wet field birds included a DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE, five Mute Swans, 102 Canada Geese, a Barnacle Geese, 78 Wigeon and 18 Teal. (Mike Smart). Take the road to the sailing club (Avoncrest Drive), park at the end at SO897338, then there is a pathway between the new housing estate and the meadow. There is a hedge between the housing estate and the meadow, but you can see through or over it at several places.

Upham Meadow     This morning five Greylags, 254 Canada Geese, a Buzzard, six Skylarks, five Fieldfares and 12 Redwings. (Mike Smart).
