Ashleworth Ham     This afternoon birds included 37 Snipe, 150+ Lapwings, 11 Canada Geese, two Greylags, two Mute Swans, 77 Wigeon, 45 Mallards, 131+ Teal, 46 Shovelers, a Little Grebe, five Moorhens, four Coots, four Grey Herons, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, three Buzzards and a Tawny Owl hooted briefly at 2:15pm. Frampton     The MERLIN had moved to Saul Warth this afternoon but was later at Splatt Bridge. Also the red wing-tagged Marsh Harrier and a Barn Owl in the 100-Acre and two Goosanders flew SW with three Goldeneyes. (Gordon Hodgson). Around the pools a Marsh Tit, 98 Tufted Ducks, 509 Coots, 109 Mute Swans, 121 Gadwalls, 43 Wigeon, 15 Shovelers, a drake Pintail, 20 Mallards, 41 Teal, four Pochards, three Little Grebes, 22 Moorhens, a Water Rail, the adult Yellow-legged Gull, four Blackcaps and two Cetti’s Warblers.
