Maisemore    From Church Road from the pool to the weir on the Severn this afternoon birds included a Peregrine on the church, 17 Moorhens, a Tufted Duck, two Mute Swans,
two Jays, eight Long-tailed Tits, a Great Spotted Woodpecker and two Cormorants. (John Fletcher).

Winchcombe     Four Red Kites over the church at 10:30 this morning. (Stuart Galey).

Walmore Common     Six adult Whooper Swans today, no doubt the birds seen previously in the Highnam area. (Andy Jayne).

Forest of Dean     At Blaize Bailey birds seen from the house this afternoon in the hedgerow of the field beyond the garden three Redwings, three Bramblings, numerous Goldfinches, several Siskins and a male Hawfinch. (Peter Boorman & Lynne Mayers).

Ebley     Around Ebley Meadows, along the River Frome and canal this morning birds included a Kingfisher, a Green Woodpecker, a Grey Heron, eight Long-tailed Tits, 14 Mallards, two Mute Swans and a Pied Wagtail. (Malcolm Balster).

Hailey Wood     A huge mixed Chaffinch and Brambling flock next to the entrance to Hailey Wood sawmill visible from the road. At least 500 birds – appeared to be roughly equal numbers of Chaffinches and Bramblings. (Peter Chapell).

Cirencester     A Ring-necked Parakeet in Waitrose car park at 8am, also a dispersing Pied Wagtail roost in the vicinity of Lidl and the small shopping centre. (Liz O’Connor).

Toadsmoor     Along the Toadsmoor Valley towards Toadsmoor pond this afternoon birds included three Goldcrests, a Treecreeper, a Marsh Tit, two Buzzards, five Mandarins (3m, 2f), four Mallards (2m, 2f) and a Raven heard. (Malcolm Balster).

WWT Slimbridge     The adult Dark-bellied Brent Goose on the Bottom New Piece with the Canada and Barnacle Goose flock again. (Slimbridge Sightings). Two male Gadwalls in the channel leading from the Kingfisher hide and two Peregrines hunting from the fence in front of the Zeiss hide all morning up to 12:30pm. (Paul Sutton).

Longney Sands     A Yellow-legged Gull today, two Gadwall over and a male Blackcap in the garden at Epney. (Jeremy Squire).

Berkeley     A Peregrine flew over the garden, then flew the length of the Little River Avon from the kennels to Berkeley Pill flushing 250+ Common Gulls and 100+ Black-headed Gulls from locally flooded fields. (Tom Weston-McClung).

Cambridge     A Green Sandpiper flew over the canal at the Tudor Arms this morning at 9am. (Brian Kings).

Cotswold Water Park West    A probable adult Iceland Gull at Pit 16 roost this afternoon. Also two Yellow-legged Gulls. (Graham Lawlor). Two Barn Owls hunting together at Shorncote Reedbed at 4pm. (Roger Gillespie).
