Cotswold Water Park West     At Shorncote reed beds and along the hedges around Pits 85a, 85b and 84 this afternoon birds included eight Water Rails heard, three Little Grebes, two Gadwalls, five Grey Herons, two Cormorants, two Tufted Ducks, a juvenile Kingfisher, a Garden Warbler, four Sedge Warblers, four Buzzards, a Kestrel, two Ravens, six Pied Wagtails and eight Mute Swans. Daglingworth     Over 100 Meadow Pipits on the telegraph wires tonight, three Stonechats and a Wheatear. (Andrew Morrison).

Hawling     In the area today seven Red Kites, Buzzards, a male Sparrowhawk, three Kestrels, two Ravens, two Yellowhammers, Linnets and Meadow Pipits. Also a mating pair of Common Darters, Small White, Green-veined White, Comma, Red Admiral, Brimstone and Speckled Wood butterflies, numerous Hornets, Seven-spot Ladybirds and a Green Shieldbug. Frampton     On Court Lake a Hobby, a Raven, 50+ Teal, three Green Sandpipers and a Little Egret. On the Sailing Lake the adult Yellow-legged Gull, three Teal, a Little Grebe, a Green Sandpiper, two Chiffchaffs, eight Meadow Pipits over and a Green Woodpecker. Also two Common Darters. (MK). Symonds Yat     In the Yat Rock area today the resident Peregrines, two Goshawks, a female Sparrowhawk, five Buzzards, a Red Kite, two Ravens, a Little Egret, a Green Woodpecker, five Bullfinches, three Jays, two Stock Doves, Swallows, House Martins, Long-tailed Tits and nine Pied Wagtails flying through.
