Symonds Yat     From the viewpoint today the resident Peregrines, a Goshawk, six Buzzards, two Ravens, a Grey Heron, House Martins, Swallows, a Jay and a Little Egret. Also a Fallow Deer doe with her fawn and two Hornets. (Chris & Phil Andrews).

Aylburton Warth     On the morning high tide 100 Canada Geese flying downstream, three Teal, five Grey Herons, a Kestrel, a Peregrine, 324 Curlews flew down towards Guscar Rocks, six Redshanks, a Greenshank, ten Swallows, three House Martins, three Yellow Wagtails, 20 Meadow Pipits, a Wheatear, 100 Goldfinches and five Linnets. Symonds Yat     In the Yat Rock area today the Peregrine pair, six Buzzards, four Ravens, two Little Egrets, a Green Woodpecker, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Grey Heron, two Stock Doves, House Martins and Swallows. Edge     At Rudge Hill N.N.R. this afternoon around SO846091 birds included five Green Woodpeckers, 35 Goldfinches, a Spotted Flycatcher, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Kestrel, a Buzzard and four Linnets. Along Sevenleaze Lane in the Spoonbed Farm area SO861124 110 Linnets, seven Goldfinches, a Kestrel, two Buzzard, a Red-legged Partridge and 17 Grey Partridge in a stubble field presumably released birds. At Nagshead six Siskins from the Campbell hide and two adult Wild Boars with nine young outside the Lower hide. Also a Goshawk at Crabtree Hill and a Peregrine over Whitemead Park. Purton     Vismig this morning included three Ruff, three Redshanks, a Black-tailed Godwit, 12 Ringed Plovers and a Dunlin all downriver and 308 House Martins, 102 Swallows, seven Meadow Pipits and two alba Wagtails. Also a Common Sandpiper there. (Francis Steuck).

Gloucester     Birds at Horsbere Flood Storage Lake today included nine Mute Swans (2 adults & 7 large cygnets), four Little Grebes (2 adults and 2 large juveniles), a Cormorant and three Grey Herons. (Gordon Avery).
