Cirencester     Two Hawfinches at Cirencester Park flew over heading E towards Cecily Hill gate at 8:25am. (Jon Mercer).

The Barringtons     A ringtail HEN HARRIER still ranging around the area today. (Duncan Dine).

Ozleworth     400 m N of the BT tower at the junction with Ashcroft road this morning, a Hawfinch and a Brambling with a flock of 100 Linnets, 45 Fieldfares plus Redwings and Chaffinches at ST792949, also 61 Golden Plovers and 35 Lapwings. (Vic Polley).

Cam     At Cam Long Down early afternoon a Woodcock, three Hawfinches over and a Sparrowhawk. (Paul Rich).

Forest of Dean     At Brockweir three Little Grebes on the River Wye below Brockweir Bridge. (Ivan Proctor).

Over     This morning a flock of c100 birds of Linnets, Chaffinches, Goldfinches and Greenfinches. Also a Goldcrest, a pair of Yellowhammers, a pair of Bullfinches, a Green Woodpecker and a female Kestrel. (Pam & Frank Bryant).

Sapperton     A Tawny Owl on a roadside tree at 11:30pm. (Mark Grieve).

Clapton-on-the-Hill     A ringtail HEN HARRIER  at Newbridge at 12:15pm today. (Duncan Dine).

Cambridge     Two CATTLE EGRETS in a field with cattle at Ryall’s Lane late morning. (Nick Goatman).

Frampton     Two Hawfinches around Splatt Bridge and the church early morning and possibly the same two later feeding around the horse paddock W of Court Lake. Also at the pools the adult Whooper Swan, the adult Yellow-legged Gull flew over and three Green Sandpipers. (Francis Steuck). A SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF in the Gravel Wash area late afternoon. Also around the pools 25 Lesser Redpolls, six Siskins, 46 Gadwalls, 36 Teal, four Shovelers, 291 Coots, 150+ Redwings, 100+ Fieldfares and two Tawny Owls. (Nick Goatman).

Guiting Power     A Hawfinch in a leafless tree near the church at 3pm then flew into yew trees inside the churchyard. (Vic Polley).

Hartpury     38+Redwings, two Mistle Thrushes, 53+ Fieldfares, three Skylarks, a Kestrel, a Buzzard, two Jays, a Chiffchaff feeding on streamside willows, a mixed flock of 70+ Woodpigeons and 20+ Stock Doves on stubble, a Grey Heron and a Red-legged Partridge. (Mark Grieve).

Cotswold Water Park West     Again no sign of the Ring-necked Duck this afternoon at Pit 57 or the surrounding area. Six Goldeneyes and four Goosanders at Pit 41 and 16 Red Crested Pochards at Pit 44. (Paul Rich).

WWT Slimbridge     A Spotted Redshank on South Lake at 1:20pm. (Mark Hobson). A Hawfinch flew over the Hogarth hide this afternoon. (Francis Steuck). Five Knot on the Top New Piece with Golden Plovers but flew off. (Paul Masters). From Holden Tower the adult Dark-bellied Brent and the Red-breasted Goose of unknown origin amongst the feral Barnacle Geese flock, an Avocet on South Lake and two Whooper Swans on the Top New Piece. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Forest of Dean     At Wenchford three Dippers, a Marsh Tit and several Coal Tits.  At Parkend a Hawfinch in a Yew, Crossbills over, a Jay and two Mistle Thrushes. At Crabtree Hill the GREAT GREY SHRIKE, two pairs of Stonechats and small numbers of Siskins and Lesser Redpolls. (Steve Brown). Four Crossbills, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Green Woodpecker and many of Siskins and Goldcrests at Edge Hill this morning. (Owen Follis).

Cotswold Water Park West     A RING-NECKED DUCK on Pit 57 this morning, but no further sign later. (David Creber).

WWT Slimbridge     Two CATTLE EGRETS with cattle to the N of the approach road near the canal. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Leckhampton Hill     A Woodcock flew over at 8:40pm and two Tawny Owls. (Chris Furley).

Gloucester     At Horsbere Brook Flood Storage Lake a Little Egret, a Wigeon, two Teal, a Stonechat, a Chiffchaff, three Reed Buntings, a Kingfisher, two Redwings and 49 Mallards today. (Paul Masters).

May Hill     A Brambling in the garden with the Chaffinches this morning, the first since the winter of 2012/13. (Rob Guest).

Berkeley     Six Little Egrets in a field at Park Farm and two Woodcocks in Quarry Wood, Peddington. (Andrew Jones).

Arlingham     c200 Lapwings on the River Severn at SO697121 this morning. On the bank of the River Severn and nearby hedges at SO700121 five Stonechats this morning. A Barn Owl N of Arlingham at SO711117 this evening. (Antony Seabright).

Hucclecote     Garden birds today included three Coal Tit, eight Woodpigeons, three Collared Doves and four Feral Pigeons and two Goldcrests foraging in apple trees, a garden first. (Harold Smith).

WWT Slimbridge     This morning from Zeiss Hide 745 Lapwings, 300+ Golden Plovers, 500+ Dunlins, the probable Semipalmated Sandpiper, 36 Knot, 22 Curlews, a Spotted Redshank, 73 Black-tailed Godwits, 25 Ruff, a Redshank and two Little Stints. Also the Dark-bellied Brent Goose around and an Avocet on South Lake. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Snowshill     Four Ravens on roadkill today. (Keith Jennings).

Winstone     A male MERLIN S of Winstone near JackBarrow Farm this morning. (Jon Mercer).

Cirencester Park      This morning 60+ Redwings, a Fieldfare, a Marsh Tit, 100+ Golden Plovers circling and a Kingfisher by Barton Mill. (Jon Mercer).

Symonds Yat     From the viewpoint the resident Peregrines and an intruding Peregrine, Buzzards, a Sparrowhawk, Ravens, Redwings, Fieldfares, two Marsh Tits, Jays, 16 Mandarins (8m, 8f), a Kingfisher, a Wren and a Mistle Thrush. Also a Fallow Deer with a fawn, a Bank Vole and a Red Admiral butterfly. (Chris & Phil Andrews).

Stonehouse     In the canal area around St Cyr’s Church a female Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Green Woodpecker, a Jay, a Mistle Thrush, a Goldcrest with a small Long-tailed Tit flock, a Treecreeper on Nutshell Bridge, a Kingfisher, a Song Thrush and at least eight Wrens. (Paul Sutton).

Beachley Point     A female type BLACK REDSTART around the pylon today. Also a WHIMBREL, a Stonechat, 4+ Rock Pipits, five Lesser Redpolls and 11 Fieldfares over. Lewis Thomson).

Tidenham Chase     9+ Hawfinches feeding on sloes at the bottom of Poors Allotment, also 64 Redwings, 31 Fieldfares and 16 Lesser Redpolls. At The Park three Crossbills, four Lesser Redpolls and a Hawfinch over. (Lewis Thomson).

Berkeley shore     Two female MERLINS late morning. Also two Lesser Redpolls and eight Siskins over, c150 Redwings and eight Fieldfares. (Paul Taylor).
