Sharpness     A 2nd calendar year LITTLE GULL flew towards Lydney at 7:07am. (Andy Jordan).

Quedgeley     New arrivals at Netheridge Farm today a Reed Warbler, a Whitethroat and a Willow Warbler. (Mark Hobson).

Rodborough     VisMig over the Common this morning included a Whimbrel, a Corn Bunting, 40 Swallows, seven House Martins, a Sand Martin, 25 Linnets, 15 Meadow Pipits and eight Greylags. (Francis Steuck).

Amberley    A male RING OUZEL this afternoon in a field bordered by Giddynapp Lane and Theescombe Lane. Also a Mistle Thrush, a Chiffchaff, a Blackcap, a Willow Warbler and a Goldcrest all singing and three Swallows over. (Phil Williams).

Wotton-Under-Edge     An OSPREY over the allotments and fire station at 3:30pm today. (Tom McCarthy).

Nailsworth     An OSPREY flew low along Nailsworth Valley at 4.30pm, circled and flew N after gaining height. (Terry Grant).

Cleeve Hill     A male Redstart, two Tree Pipits, 3+ Wheatears, a Willow Warbler, a Red Kite, three Lapwings and two Ravens today. (Mark Dowie).

Frampton     On the Sailing Lake early afternoon a first summer LITTLE GULL, two House Martins, 100+ Sand Martins, a Yellow Wagtail, 20 Blackcaps and 18 Chiffchaffs and three Willow Warblers. A Grasshopper Warbler reeling in fields opposite the double wooden gates on the Perryway in the field with the tin shed. (Nick Goatman).

Saul Warth     A flock of six SANDWICH TERNS and two adult LITTLE GULLS high through Saul Warth at 7:50am, later two more SANDWICH TERNS and a further two over Frampton village at 5:20pm. (Gordon Hodgson).

WWT Slimbridge     An immature LITTLE GULL (also seen on the canal), a Common Tern and two Mediterranean Gulls on South Lake. Also a CATTLE EGRET seen in flight. (Andy Jordan/Roberta Goodall).  Late afternoon a female MERLIN pursued and caught a Meadow Pipit on the Dumbles.  It then sat on a post and plucked and ate its prey. (Paul Rich).

Charlton Kings     A Grasshopper Warbler reeling on Charlton Kings Common at sunrise this morning at SO955185. Also three Willow Warblers, five Blackcaps, and five Chiffchaffs also in the area. (Chris Furley).

Awre     A WATER PIPIT on the foreshore this morning, but very flighty, and last seen flying away down river in the direction of Gatcombe. (John & Viv Phillips).

Frampton     Two Swallows by the church at 7:30am. A male Wheatear and eight Little Egrets on the flashes N of Splatt Bridge. Cleeve Hill     East of the Trig Point two male Wheatears, a pair of Stonechats (one male in song) and a second pair of Stonechats near the enclosure, a Red Kite and 100+ Linnets flocking over ploughed fields S of the common. Sharpness    A probable Harbour Porpoise this evening. (Andy Jordan).

Cranham Common     A pair of Coal Tits, two Linnets, two Buzzards, six Long-tailed Tits, four Chiffchaffs, two Buzzards and two Tawny Owls calling to each other after dark. (John Fletcher).

Witcombe Reservoirs     Ten Chiffchaffs, three Great Crested Grebes, 12 Tufted Ducks, a male Shoveler, a Cormorant, three Blackcaps, three Willow Warblers, a Red Kite over, a Green Woodpecker, a Nuthatch, a Buzzard, a Jay and a Swallow. Also a Muntjac and two Roe Deer. (Mark Grieve).

Ashleworth Ham     Five Canada Geese, six Shelducks, three Shovelers, two Pintails, four Wigeon, two Gadwall, 78 Teal, eight Mallards, 18 Coots, a GREAT WHITE EGRET, a Little Egret, two Grey Herons, three Curlews, two Oystercatchers, a Redshank, two Snipe, eight Lapwings, two Nuthatches, a Redstart, two Chiffchaffs and a Blackcap.
