WWT Slimbridge     A Jay from Kingfisher hide. From Zeiss hide two Great White Egrets, 15 Ruff, 237 Black-tailed Godwits and a Water Rail. On South Lake two Green Sandpipers, 27 Avocets, 252 Black-tailed Godwits and a Greenshank. (Ian Hull). On the Dumbles birds included five White-fronted Geese, a Curlew Sandpiper, 98 Dunlins, 15 Ringed Plovers, 234 Curlews, 21 Ruffs, 908 Golden Plovers, 667 Lapwings, 175 Shelducks, two Little Egrets, six Grey Herons, 296 Wigeon, 151 Pintails, 465 Teal, a Siskin, a Stonechat and a Peregrine. Elmore Court     Around the rewilding area this morning, a Barn Owl, two Little Owls heard, two Snipe, 6+ Stonechats, eight Reed Buntings, 10+ Skylarks, 10+ Meadow Pipits and four Redwings. (Steve Pullen).

Frampton pools     A Swallow, a Cattle Egret, 12 Little Egrets, two Grey Herons, 15 Redwings, three Chiffchaffs, two Cetti’s Warbler, two Treecreepers, five Mistle Thrushes, a Grey Wagtail, 60 Cormorants, six Great Crested Grebes, 14 Tufted Ducks and six Gadwalls. (Nick Goatman).

Horsley     Five Red Kites within half a mile around the recycling centre. (Jon Dexter).

WWT Slimbridge    The first two returning WHITE-FRONTED GEESE on the lower saltmarsh shelf. On the Dumbles foreshore a Curlew Sandpiper, seven Ringed Plovers and 74 Dunlins. (Martin McGill). 30 Snipe on the Rushy (Terry Stevenson) and 12 Cattle Egrets. (Mike Davis). In the early evening 16 Cattle Egrets roosted on the Rushy. (Tim McGrath).

Frampton pools     This evening four Tawny Owls calling, a Great White Egret, 22 Little Egrets, 30+ Cormorants, a Kingfisher, a Lapwing over and the Yellow-legged Gull at lunchtime. (Nick Goatman).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Two adult WHITE-FRONTED GEESE, 27 Mute Swans, 900 Greylags, 500 Canada Geese, six Egyptian Geese, 520 Wigeon, 14 Gadwalls, 400 Teal, 50 Mallards, 55 Pintails, 45 Shovelers, two Little Egrets, three Cormorants, an adult female Marsh Harrier, a Kestrel, two Coots, 20 Lapwings, three Skylarks, a Mistle Thrush, 40 Goldfinches and two Reed Buntings. Ashleworth Ham    A male Marsh Harrier over the water at 10:30am putting up all the wildfowl. Also 20+ Shovelers. (Mike Jones). Also two Mute Swans, five Greylags, 60 Canada Geese, 54 Wigeon, nine Gadwalls and ten Mallards. (Mike Smart).

Hartpury     At the College birds included c80 Common Gulls, four Siskins, two Goldcrests, a Green Woodpecker, a Jay, two Greenfinches, a Mistle Thrush, 5+Redwings, two Buzzards, a Coal Tit, eight Pied Wagtails and a Goldfinch. (Oliver Paisey).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Five Mute Swans, 150 Greylags, 200 Canada Geese, 215 Wigeon, 45 Gadwalls, 380 Teal, 100 Mallards, 81 Pintails, 76 Shovelers, 15 Tufted Ducks, two pairs of Little Grebes, a Grey Heron, a Coot, 35 Lapwings, two Green Sandpipers, five Skylarks, a Stonechat, a Chiffchaff, 30 Goldfinches, five Linnets, five Bullfinches and a Reed Bunting. Bencombe     c20 Golden Plovers on the top fields this morning at ST795963 (near the junction to Wotton-under-Edge from the A4135. A Red kite flew towards Horsley Recycling Centre. (Jon Dexter).

Winchcombe     At Langley Road this afternoon, five Bullfinches, a Jay, a Kestrel, three Red Kites, four Redwings and a snuggle of Long-tailed Tits. (Stuart Galey).

WWT Slimbridge     A YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER calling and showed in the sallows and weeping willow on the E side of the spinney wood. At Middle Point a moulting adult Curlew Sandpiper. 12 Cattle Egrets in the Stall House Ground with the cattle herd, viewed from the seawall bench at Goose House/Middle Point. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Edge     A RING OUZEL on the common at 12:30pm with Mistle Thrushes near the quarry. (James Darke).

Walmore Common    A female/immature Goosander today. Also 165 Greylag Geese, nine Snipe, a Kingfisher and three Stonechats. (Andy Jayne).

Elmore Court     At the rewilding area this afternoon, at least seven Stonechats, 18 Skylarks, 12 Meadow Pipits, three Red Kites, five Buzzards, three Kestrels, three Grey Herons, a Little Egret, 12 Teal, 25 Mallards, two Mute Swans and three Jays. (Steve Pullen).

Stinchcombe Hill    A male Brambling with a mixed finch flock below the car park, a Red Kite, a Chiffchaff, and a few Redwings in the woods this afternoon. (James Robinson).

Gloucester     At Horsbere Brook FSA two Mute Swans, a Cormorant and an adult Grey Heron. On the mound two male Stonechats and 30 Goldfinches. (Gordon Avery).

Painswick Beacon     This morning’s migration watch, 7am to 9:30am, 2330 Woodpigeon, a male RING OUZEL, 103 Chaffinches, three Bramblings, three House Martins, 168 Redwings and four Fieldfares. A Red Kite drifted around the area throughout. (John Fleming).

Tewkesbury     At Mythe Hook 15 Mute Swans, 100 Greylags, 200 Canada Goose, 70 Wigeon, six Gadwalls, 60 Teal, 50 Mallards, 20 Shovelers, 20 Lapwings and a male Ruff. (Mike Smart).

Stonehouse     This morning a Kingfisher and a Cormorant near Upper Mills on the canal. A Chiffchaff near the Ocean. A Jay and a Grey Heron in fields below Bonds Mill. (Paul Sutton).
