WWT Slimbridge    Three SAND MARTINS low over the Rushy heading N at 4:20pm. (Tim McGrath).

Frampton pools     Three SAND MARTINS this evening, maybe the WWT birds. Also nine Shovelers, three Gadwalls, 54 Tufted Ducks, two Oystercatchers, 32 Greylags, eight Canada Geese, 30 Little Egrets and 18 Pied Wagtails. (Nick Goatman).

Cirencester     An adult male BLACK REDSTART on the roof of the Royal Agricultural University today. (Dan Watson).

Hartpury     A  Goshawk flew over the college getting mobbed by Carrion Crows and a Buzzard. (Oliver Paisey).

Nailsworth     Six Red Kites, a male Peregrine, a female MERLIN, 80+ Fieldfares and 45+ Redwings in the Barton End/Chavenage Lane area today. (Terry Grant).

Great Barrington area     This morning, 15 Golden Plovers, a Corn Bunting, good numbers of Yellowhammers, Skylarks and Linnets, a Kestrel, six Buzzards and 15+ Red Kites. (Steve Pullen).

Frampton    50+ WAXWINGS at Frampton Court feeding in trees on the Perryway side of Court Lake this morning. (Nick Goatman). This afternoon a Kestrel and 14 Cormorants at Court Lake, a pair of Teal in the reeds by the Gravel Wash, four Chiffchaffs singing and lots of Goldcrests. At Splatt Bridge a Great Crested Grebe, a Kingfisher in the reedbed and a Little Egret. (Steve Pullen).

WWT Slimbridge     An Egyptian Goose on the Dumbles. (Julian Gould). The SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF calling and showing in the plum blossom shelter belt beyond the reedbed along South Finger this morning. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Stinchcombe Hill     Two Bewick’s Swans headed over Tyndale Monument then flew directly over Drakestone Point towards WWT. Also a calling Marsh Tit and a Green Woodpecker. (James Robinson/Tim McGrath).

Rodborough    c100 Siskins feeding on Alder at Little Britain Farm near the pond. Little Britain Farm is close to the intersection of Bear Hill Rodborough and the A46. (Mil Petkovic).

Longney     A Common Sandpiper and a Dunlin on what remains of Rodley Sands. (Jeremy Squire).

Halmore area     A male Goshawk, two Red Kites and two Buzzards over, a Kestrel, two Nuthatches, four Treecreepers, a Blackcap, a Mistle Thrush, a Song Thrush, two Goldcrests, several Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Fieldfare and several Redwings passing through. (Chris Newton).

Innsworth     A Barn Owl hunting next to the A40 by the new roundabout at 6:30am. (Ted Harris).

Cotswold Water Park West     This morning at Pits 65/43: 32 Red Crested Pochards, six Goldeneyes and six Goosanders. At Pit 57 three Goldeneyes, at Pit 42 four Goosanders, at Pit 41 five Goldeneyes and three Goosanders, at Pit 75 50 Pintails and at Pit 16 two Goldeneyes. (Paul Rich).

Cotswold Water Park East    At Pit 104 numerous Wigeon and Tufted Ducks, a Shoveler, two pairs of Great Crested Grebes, four pairs of Goosanders, a Great Black-backed Gull, 20+ Fieldfares, a pair of Lesser Redpolls and a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming. (Jonathan Stebbing).

Bourton-on-the-Water    A very vocal pair of Oystercatchers flew low over Birdland at 8:40am and were then still calling somewhere on the Clapton side of the park. (Alistair Keen).

WWT Slimbridge     A WATER PIPIT on the scrape in front of the Estuary Tower and a Goshawk from Zeiss hide. (Dave Creber). From the Estuary Tower the adult PALE-BELLIED GOOSE and the  juvenile DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE with the Canada and Barnacle Geese on the Dumbles. Upper Slaughter     On the Eyford Estate, NW of Upper Slaughter, a Green Woodpecker, four Great Spotted Woodpeckers, four Stock Doves, two Nuthatches, a Coal Tit, a Marsh Tit, three small groups of Long-tailed Tits, a Raven, two vocal Red Kites and four Buzzards displaying from 11:30am and a scattering of Fieldfares and Redwings. Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning the usual approach from the Wharf and along the towpath is under several feet of water and likely to remain that way for some time yet. Viewed from the northern Apperley side, very deep flooding, birds included two Mute Swans, a Shelduck, a minimum of 60 Wigeon, a minimum of 40 Teal, ten Mallards, 20 Tufted Ducks, two Coots, two Oystercatchers, a Lapwing, two Dunlins, four Curlews, 250 Black-headed Gulls, 110 Fieldfares and two Ravens.
