WWT Slimbridge     A pair of Mediterranean Gulls on the Rushy from 8:30am until 3pm at least, with a wander up to Frampton early afternoon. (Molly Gould/Terry Stevenson). A BITTERN from Knott hide at 11am. (Oliver Paisey). Two Tundra Bean Geese, origin unknown, on South Lake on the causeway this afternoon. (Ken Mihill/Martin Price/Tan Grigg). A pair of Bullfinches from Knott hide. (Terry Stevenson).

Mediterranean Gulls by Terry Stevenson

Frampton     A pair of Mediterranean Gulls on the sailing lake early afternoon, presumably the same as the WWT birds, also a Cuckoo. (Oliver Paisey).

Saul Warth      Between 6-9:30am a Ross’s Goose, two Barnacle Geese, a male Gadwall, six Whimbrels, eight Bar-tailed Godwits, two Grey Plovers, 165 Dunlins, six Sanderlings, 87 Ringed Plovers, seven Curlews, five Avocets, four Oystercatchers, a Lapwing, three Common Terns flew N overland, eight Grey Herons, two Swallows, a Meadow Pipit and a new in Willow Warbler. (MK).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A Grasshopper Warbler reeling early morning only. Also two Dunlins. (Ian Ralphs). This evening a WOOD SANDPIPER on the North scrape. (Ian Hull). Also a Hobby flew over. (Steve Rickard).

Lower Apperley     A WHITE STORK, unknown origin, over at 1pm and again over Coombe Hill canal at 1:45pm. (Les Ditchburn).

Forest of Dean     At Nagshead this morning a few Pied Flycatchers and two Spotted Flycatchers near Lower hide. (Duncan Dine/Stephen Curtis & Carol Rushton).). A distant Wood Warbler heard from Speech House car park. Around Crabtree Hill another Wood Warbler heard, a Tree Pipit, two Green Woodpeckers, five Mistle Thrushes, six Garden Warblers, three Whitethroats, a pair of Stonechats, 12 Blackcaps, six Chiffchaffs, 15 Willow Warblers, 40 Crossbills, ten mixed House Martins and Swallows and two Swifts. Also a Common Blue butterfly. (Stephen Curtis & Carol Rushton).

Spotted Flycatcher by Duncan Dine

Elmore     Two Whimbrels still in the field by Wholly Gelato at Barhouse Farm. At Elmore Back three Red Kites, three Buzzards, a Cuckoo calling, three Reed Warblers, two Sedge Warblers and two Reed Buntings. (Steve Pullen).

Halmore     This evening in the Slimbridge Lane area a singing Lesser Whitethroat, a Garden Warbler, a Song Thrush and a Blackcap, a Hobby over heading east, a Red Kite and a Buzzard. (Chris Newton).

Bishop’s Cleeve     Four Swifts this afternoon at the Tithe Barn. (Yvonne Baxter).
