Later on a female Marsh Harrier, a Great White Egret and an adult Mediterranean Gull over the foreshore, seen from Splatt Bridge and at least 17 singing Chiffchaffs heard in a walk round the Sailing Lake and Court Lake. Stinchcombe Hill     This morning a Chiffchaff singing, at least two Bramblings with Chaffinches, 10’s of Siskins heading N and 20 Redwings. (James Robinson).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning two drake GARGANEYS from Grundon hide. (Greg Mabbett/Les Ditchburn). This evening a pair of GARGANEYS from Grundon hide, so definitely three birds on site today. WWT Slimbridge     On South Lake 115 Avocets, 182 Black-tailed Godwits, at least six Knot and a female Goldeneye. From the Estuary Tower 179 White-fronted Geese, two Greenland White-fronted Geese and two Pink-footed Geese on the Dumbles. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Frampton     On Court field 153 Barnacle Geese, a Ross’s Goose, an Egyptian Goose and an Oystercatcher early morning. (Nick Goatman). Between Splatt Flashes and Saul Warth 6+ Redshanks, 21 Curlews, 60+ Shelducks, a Little Egret, 10+ Skylarks and four Chiffchaffs.
