Framilode     A putative Viking Gull (Herring x Glaucous) on the River Severn this evening. (Martin McGill/Duerden Cormack).

Frampton     On the flashes an adult Dark-bellied Brent Goose, ten Shelducks, 41 Curlews, and six Redshanks roosting and a Peregrine and a Grey Plover in flight at Splatt over the high tide. (Martin McGill). A male Goosander flew along the canal at Splatt Bridge and then turned NE over the village at 11:55 am. At Court Lake there were large rafts of duck of at least seven different species, including a male Goldeneye. The Tawny Owl was in its usual roosting place in the large Beech. (Terry Grant).

WWT Slimbridge    A GLOSSY IBIS on a field to the N of the entrance road near the canal at 2:30pm. Three Dark-bellied Brent Geese on the Dumbles on the river edge and three Avocets on South Lake. Also today a Marsh Harrier circling over the 50 Acre, two Cattle Egrets back in to the South Lake for the pre-roost,  a wild female Goldeneye in with the collection birds SW side of the Big Pen, a Chiffchaff along the Decoy Boardwalk and a Ringed Plover on the Tack Piece. Cirencester    At least five, probably seven Hawfinches in Oakley Wood, Cirencester Park this afternoon 1 at SO973033 and 4, probably 6, at SO977025. Also 50+ Bramblings, 20+ Siskins, three Marsh Tits, a singing Mistle Thrush and two singing Song Thrushes. (Jon Mercer).

Cotswold Water Park West     A SCAUP still on Pit 43. (David Creber).

Cotswold Water Park East     At Pit 132 5+ Chiffchaffs by the sewage works and 400 Teal, 250 Lapwings and Golden Plovers, a Green Sandpiper and two Great White Egrets. (Duncan Dine).

Sharpness     A male BLACK REDSTART still this afternoon at the end of Dock Road. (Andy Jordan).

Forest of Dean    A few Bramblings in a mixed finch flock on Serridge Ridge this afternoon. (Geoff Fawcett). 3+ Hawfinches at Parkend today by the Cricket Pitch at 11am. Also at Cannop Ponds, a Marsh Tit on the feeders. (David Jackson).

Coombe Hill Meadows     The Russian White-fronted Goose still today. (Ian Ralphs).

Roel    This afternoon c200 Fieldfares in a brassica field near the Roel Grain Store, two Buzzards, a female Kestrel, a Skylark heard, a Yellowhammer and a Tawny Owl calling at 2pm. (Andrew & Gill Worthington).

Chavenage Lane     Two Stonechats, 70+ Fieldfares and a male Peregrine flying over, which was later seen perched on a wall at Barton End. (Terry Grant).

Cranham     At Cranham Common and Saltridge Woods this morning a Little Grebe on the ponds at Brook Farm Trout Fishery, visible from the public footpath that runs N of the trout farm, a Grey Heron nearby at the stream at Gladys’ Leap, and a Mistle Thrush at the NW corner of the Common.
