Epney     An adult Yellow-legged Gull, a Little Egret and three Common Gulls tonight. (Jeremy Squire).

Lydney     70+ Curlews this morning along the river from Lydney harbour. Also eight Common Sandpipers, a Sparrowhawk and a Whimbrel. (Dave Smith).

Symonds Yat     In the Yat Rock area today the Peregrine pair, Buzzards, Ravens, Swifts, Swallows, House and Sand Martins, a Jay, a female Mandarin, a Grey Heron and a Green Woodpecker. Other sightings included Red Admiral, Small and Large White, a Silver-washed Fritillary, Holly Blue, Meadow Brown and Gatekeeper butterflies, a Bank Vole, Hummingbird Hawkmoths and Rose Chafers. WWT Slimbridge     A juvenile Cuckoo still being fed by a pair of Reed Warblers near Willow hide hidden in the canopy above the path. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Highnam     At Lassington Wood, a family of Marsh Tits feeding and calling, a Green Woodpecker, two Stock Doves, Jays calling and a Chiffchaff still singing. (David Nicholls).

Walmore Common     This evening a Grasshopper Warbler reeling from 9:50pm for 10 minutes only. Also a Hobby catching insects at dusk, 60 Lapwings and 18 Mistle Thrushes. (Andy Jayne).

Bishops Cleeve/Woodmancote     A Red Kite meandering up from Bishops Cleeve and over Nottingham Hill at 1:50pm. (Mark Forknall).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A female Gadwall with six tiny chicks, probably a first breeding record for the site, nine Teal, three adult Little Ringed Plovers, 110+ Lapwings, a Redshank with three full-grown chicks and a Green Sandpiper. (Mike Smart).

Dowdeswell     A Spotted Flycatcher at Lineover Wood this morning. (Duncan Dine).

Forthampton     Two Red Kites flew over at 2pm.  25 Swifts still present early evening. (David & Sandra Spicer).

Dymock     Two Common Cranes dropped in at Brooms Green near Dymock at 5:30am but were disturbed by a cow and left southwards. (Charles Martell).

Twyning     At Upham Meadow a Curlew, three Oystercatchers and 70 Lapwings today. (Mike Smart).

Berkeley shore     Eight COMMON SCOTERS off OF Severn House Farm at 12:45PM though distant. Also two juvenile Yellow Wagtails. (Paul Taylor).

WWT Slimbridge     An OSPREY flew N upriver at 10am. A juvenile Cuckoo still being fed by a pair of Reed Warblers near Willow hide in the canopy above the path. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Upper Swell     A male Grey Wagtail carrying food, a Sparrowhawk and 50 Green-veined White butterflies feeding in a mass by the riverbank. (Andy & Laurie Pierce).

Lower Rea     18 Stock Doves this evening. (Andy Chapman).

Ashleworth Ham     Two Buzzards, a Kestrel, Bullfinches, Willow Warblers, Chiffchaffs, a Grey Heron, a Mistle Thrush, Long-tailed Tits and Stock Doves. Other sightings included Small Tortoiseshell, Red Admiral, Green-veined, Large and Small White, Comma, Ringlet, Meadow Brown, Large Skipper and Brimstone butterflies, Banded Demoiselle, Large Red and Azure Blue damselflies, a Ruddy Darter pair, Scorpion Flies and a Red-legged Shieldbug. Cotswold Water Park East     In the Whelford Pools area birds included at Pit 111, 13 Great Crested Grebes, 11 Red Crested Pochards, seven Tufted Ducks, a Shoveler, a Common Tern, five Cormorants, two Garden Warblers, a Sedge Warbler, two Reed Warblers and a Willow Warbler. At Pit 111B, 11 Cormorants, three juvenile Red Crested Pochards, two Tufted Ducks, a Grey Heron and a Goldcrest. At Pit 111A nine Red Crested Pochards including seven ducklings, four Great Crested Grebes including two juveniles. At Pit 126, 37 Red Crested Pochards, 50+ Tufted Ducks, 51 Greylags, 117 Lesser Black -backed Gulls, nine Common Terns, an Oystercatcher, two Lapwings, a Pied Wagtail and three Sedge Warblers. Prestbury     A Ring-necked Parakeet flew over at 7:19am. It has been present a few weeks and calls quite often in the morning and occasionally in the evening but today was the first sighting. (Ken Heron).

Innsworth     A Ring-necked Parakeet feeding in Mottershead Drive at 7:05am. (Pam & Frank Bryant). A Ring-necked Parakeet flew over the garden from Innsworth camp direction towards Gloucester at 8:30pm. (Mark Easterbrook).

Longlevens     At 12:45pm 18 Long-tailed Tits in the garden at Park Avenue. (Pam & Frank Bryant).

Batsford      At noon a Red Kite circling over the deer park, and a Jay on and around the deer park fence. In the Arboretum a ground-feeding Green Woodpecker. (Andy & Sue Gibbons).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This evening three Sedge Warblers, a Reed Warbler, two Whitethroats, four Grey Herons and six Little Egrets, six Mute Swans, four Canada Geese (two goslings), an immature Shelduck, ten Teal, a pair of Redshanks with three young chicks and a pair with a full grown chick, four Little Ringed Plovers, a Snipe, a Black-tailed Godwit, two adult Oystercatchers with two chicks, an adult Lapwing with a full grown chick and 76+ migrant Lapwings, a Curlew and at least nine Green Sandpipers. Longney     At the old orchards mid afternoon two Barn Owls, a Buzzard, 19 Swifts, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Green Woodpecker, two Greenfinches, three Chiffchaffs, a Blackcap, three Song Thrushes, a Bullfinch, two Reed Buntings (f & juv), six Sedge Warblers and four Reed Warblers. Frampton     Around the pools early morning a Hobby, four Yellow Wagtails, 10+ Swifts, 20+ Swallows, a Lesser Whitethroat,16 Whitethroats, 19 Blackcaps, 15 Chiffchaffs, six Common Terns and three Oystercatchers.
