Cotswold Water Park West    A BLACK-NECKED GREBE on Pit 65 this afternoon. The drake SCAUP still at Pit 57 today. An adult MEDITERRANEAN GULL in the roost at Pit 16 this afternoon amongst the Black-headed Gulls, but very few large gulls. Also 11 Goldeneyes on Pit 41. (Andy Jayne).

Cotswold Water Park East     44 Red Crested Pochards on Pit 105 at Fairford. (Duncan Dine). Also six Goosanders on Pit 104 (4 males, 2 females). (Martine Fenn).

Kingswood     A male BLACK REDSTART at Chestnut Park by the gate/hedgerow to the new development seen by residents for 11 days now. Coombe Hill Meadows     Birds today included two Mute Swans, nine Shelducks, 200 Wigeon, five Gadwalls, 250 Teal, 40 Mallards, 15 Pintails, 30 Shovelers, a Tufted Duck, a Cormorant, five Grey Herons, a Little Egret, three Buzzards, 20 Coots, an Oystercatcher, 15 Lapwings, eight Curlews, four Skylarks singing, two Meadow Pipits, 20 Fieldfares, ten Redwings, a Cetti’s Warbler singing and five Reed Buntings. Frampton     At Court Lake late afternoon two Mistle Thrushes, two Great Crested Grebes, seven Cormorants roosting and a a GREAT WHITE EGRET preening on the shore at the S end of the lake. Just before 5:30pm two CATTLE EGRETS flew in  to roost. At Splatt Bridge a flock of Black-tailed Godwits on the river’s edge,  small flock of Redwings by the canal and two Buzzards. Ashley     Three Buzzards, 400+ Fieldfares, 50+ Redwings, 210+ Starlings, 22+ Yellowhammers, three Great Spotted Woodpeckers, two Green Woodpeckers, a Pied Wagtail, a Kestrel, eight Linnets, five Bullfinches, five Golden Plovers NW, three Ravens, a Nuthatch, two Stock Doves, a Mistle Thrush, two Sparrowhawks and 16 Meadow Pipits. (Mark Grieve).

Cheltenham     A Raven seen and heard today and yesterday flying over Eldorado Road, and a garden Goldcrest today. (Keith White).

Sandhurst Hill     Birds today included 250 Redwings, 30 Fieldfares, 25 Skylarks, 45 Meadow Pipits, 40 Chaffinches, 30 Linnets, 35 House Sparrows, four Song Thrushes, a Mistle Thrush, five Stock Doves, two Goldcrests, a Bullfinch, two Buzzards and a Kestrel. (John Fletcher).
