WWT Slimbridge     The LAPLAND BUNTING still on the Holden Scrape this morning at 11:15am. (Peter Sketch).

Frampton     A GREAT WHITE EGRET on Court Lake this morning until 10:12am when it flew E. (Nick Goatman/Paul Taylor). At Court lake roost this evening four CATTLE EGRET, four GREAT WHITE EGRETS, 16 Little Egrets and three Grey Herons. (Nick Goatman/Paul Masters).

Eastleach     Nine Red Kites, two Ravens and a Buzzard over Sheep Bridge SP192069 at 12:45pm today. ( Alan Williams).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Six Mute Swans, 220 Greylags, 110 Canada Geese, 1200 Wigeon, 500 Teal, 65 Mallards, 45 Pintails, 22 Shovelers, a Grey Heron, a Little Egret, 170 Lapwings, 50 Black-headed Gulls, three Skylarks, a Meadow Pipit, 12 Pied Wagtails, 200 Fieldfares and ten Redwings, 500 Starlings and 100 corvids, mostly Carrion Crows. Cobney Meadows     Viewed from the hill above the Red Lion Inn 80 Canada Geese, 460 Wigeon, 250 Teal, a Cormorant, a Peregrine, 150 Lapwings, 60 Lesser Black-backed Gulls and 100 Black-headed Gulls. (Les Brown).

Ashleworth Ham     Three Mute Swans, 23 Greylags, 195 Canada Geese, 290 Wigeon, a Teal, three Grey Herons, 45 Mallards, four Pintails and 14 Shovelers. (Les Brown).

WWT Slimbridge     The LAPLAND BUNTING still on the Holden Scrape this morning, showing well if distant at times. (Bernie O’Connor/Paul Masters/Mark Hobson). A GREAT WHITE EGRET flew from the Canoe Trail towards the Holden Tower at 9:35am. (Shane Long).

Gossington     Three CATTLE EGRETS in a field to the W of the A38 between Gossington and Slimbridge roundabout. (Matthew Tipper).

Frampton pools     A GREAT WHITE EGRET, 13 Little Egrets, a first-winter male Goldeneye, the SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF and two Common Chiffchaffs, the adult Yellow-legged Gull, 19 Snipe over, the Tawny Owl and 1000+ Redwings and Fieldfares going N. (Nick Goatman/Mark Dowie). Also on Court Lake a female Goosander. At the shore from Splatt Bridge, a Short Eared Owl hunting beyond the sea wall between 3pm and 3:30pm, a Stonechat, a Water Rail heard and a Kingfisher on the scrapes. (Andy Watts/Steve Brown).

Aylburton Warth     A MERLIN, 17 Barnacle Geese, six Stonechats, two Rock Pipits, 14 Snipe and a Little Egret. (Lewis Thomson).

Bigsweir     A Red Kite soaring a mile due S of Bigsweir bridge from the woods on Offa’s Dyke path at 2pm. (Andrew McDermid).

Stonehouse     At Doverow Wood this evening a Sparrowhawk, 60 Woodpigeons, five Magpies, 20+ Blue, Great and Long-tailed Tits, a Treecreeper, ten Starlings and 200+ Redwings. (Robert Hargreaves).

Forest of Dean     At Cannop Ponds a Cormorant, a Grey Wagtail, a Pied Wagtail, a Great Spotted Woodpecker and a Buzzard. (Chris & Phil Andrews).

WWT Slimbridge     A LAPLAND BUNTING this morning feeding around the edge of the scrape on the Dumbles from Holden Tower then flushed with the wader flock at 9am and no further sign. (Rob Taylor/Slimbridge Sightings).

Frampton     Four CATTLE EGRETS and two GREAT WHITE EGRETS on the middle island at Court Lake at 7:30am. (Nick Goatman). A GREAT WHITE EGRET present during the morning still. (Gordon Hodgson). Five WHOOPER SWANS flew over the Sailing Lake at 8am and a female Goosander still on Court Lake. (Roy Widgery). At dusk the two GREAT WHITE EGRETS again and 20 Little Egrets, and the immature male Goldeneye still. (Gordon Hodgson).

Cotswold Water Park West     Four Bewick’s Swans (3 ads, 1 juv) on Pit 65. 12 Goosanders on Pits 43/65 (6m, 5f) and a pair on Pit 44 and 56 Red Crested Pochards on Pit 44. (Roberta Goodall).

Cotswold Water Park East     Six Goosanders E over CWP(E)125, two Chiffchaffs, a Shelduck and two Goldeneyes. An OTTER showing well in the corner of Pit 114. (Ian Ralphs).

Bourton-on-the-Water     83 Wigeon, four Shovelers, two Gadwalls, two Mandarins, three Pochards and a Teal today. (Andy Lewis).

Hucclecote     A Mistle Thrush in the garden today, first in 36 years. (Harold Smith).

Symonds Yat     From the viewpoint today the Peregrine pair were very active today, two Buzzards, a female Sparrowhawk, the resident Raven pair, two Jays, small flocks of Redwings, a Bullfinch, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Grey Heron, Long-tailed Tits and three Fallow Deer. Tirley Sandpits     Three Mistle Thrushes, 122+ Fieldfares, 18 Greylags over, 14+ Skylarks, three Meadow Pipits, six Pied Wagtails, a Stonechat, a Red-legged Partridge, a female Peregrine on a kill, 120+ Redwings, three Bullfinches, a Great Spotted Woodpecker and three Cormorants today.  (Mark Grieve).

Colesbourne     A Little Egret today. (Mark Grieve).

Minsterworth     A Barn Owl flew across the A48 from an orchard next to Duni Farm at 7:30 this morning. (Gareth Jones).

Saul     Three CATTLE EGRETS around horses in the paddock at SO746087 this afternoon again. (Roy Widgery).

Frampton pools     Four CATTLE EGRETS came in to roost between 4:15-4:30pm, a female Goldeneye, a female Goosander, the SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF still in the SW corner of the Sailing Lake, 15 Little Egrets, 26 Cormorants and the adult Yellow-legged Gull. (Nick Goatman).

Ashleworth Ham    
This afternoon four WHOOPER SWANS (2 ads, 2 juvs ) arrived at 2pm then flew off towards Haw Bridge at 2:15pm. Also ten Snipe, 250 Teal, 40 Wigeon, 30 Pied Wagtails, eight Shovelers, 70 Mallards, five Greylags, 31 Canada Geese, a Grey Heron, a Buzzard, two Ravens and a Meadow Pipit. (John Fletcher). At Tewkesbury Nature Reserve this afternoon four Wigeon, a patch tick, a Little Grebe, six Snipe, a Grey Wagtail, 15 Pied Wagtails, two Reed Buntings, 300+ Starlings and 20+ Common Gulls. (Ian Hull).
Woodmancote     On garden feeders today c15 Goldfinches, a male Blackcap and a male Siskin. Also a male Sparrowhawk. (John Widgery).

Frampton     The SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF still in the SW corner of the Sailing Lake at 9:20am calling regularly. Also two Common Chiffchaffs with it. The GREAT GREY SHRIKE again from Marsh Lane, the green lane S of the pools, please keep strictly to public footpaths and do not enter the fields. Three CATTLE EGRETS came in to roost this evening. (Nick Goatman). A female Goosander and the adult Yellow-legged Gull on Court Lake, also five Little Egrets.
