Stone     Eight BEE-EATERS over the garden at 4:45pm with House Martins and Swallows. They drifted off E/NE and no further sign in Stone or neighbouring valleys. (Paul Taylor).

Frampton     A LITTLE TERN on the sailing lake briefly at 11:06am before getting harassed by Common Terns with no further sign after. Also a pair of Bullfinches, two Cuckoos including a calling female and two Spotted Flycatchers. (Oliver Paisey). A Grasshopper Warbler reeling loudly at Splatt Bridge for 15 minutes at least early this morning. (Steve Pullen).

Saul Warth     Early morning, no tide, hampered by fog for an hour, new in Whinchat and Reed Warbler, 80 Shelducks, ten Avocets, 19 Ringed Plovers, a Dunlin, eight Oystercatchers, nine Curlews, a Whimbrel heard, a Little Egret, a male Marsh Harrier, four Skylarks, a Swallow and a male Reed Bunting. WWT Slimbridge    From Zeiss hide 14 Avocets, two Black-tailed Godwits and a male Ruff with a white ruff. On the Rushy 58 Avocets, and a Shelduck with a brood of 12. (Paul Clark/Dot Jones).

Forest of Dean     At Wenchford today a Garden Warbler, a Hawfinch, a Dipper gathering food and a Goshawk. (Joshua Hamblin).

Chedworth     Ten Red Kites and a Buzzard flying over a newly cut hay/silage field this morning. (Chris Berens).

Winchcombe     A Lesser Whitethroat up Stancombe Lane at 9am this morning. (Rosy Heywood & Danny Sturgeon).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This evening eight Yellow Wagtails, a Great White Egret and three Little Ringed Plovers. (Mark Hobson).

Ashleworth Ham     A ringing session caught 62 birds including three Redstarts, 12 Sedge Warblers, ten Whitethroats, a Lesser Whitethroat, nine Long-tailed Tits and seven Reed Buntings. Other birds on the GWT reserve included six Mute Swans, a pair of Greylags with four goslings, two Canada Geese, a pair of Shelduck with six ducklings, 20 Mallards,  three Grey Herons, a Red Kite, a Buzzard, a Goshawk, a Hobby, a Coot, a Lapwing, two Curlews, two Cuckoos, five Skylarks, two Blackcaps and a Chiffchaff.
