Cheltenham     At Naunton Park, at 1am today a Tawny Owl moving through back
gardens calling persistently. This afternoon a Peregrine over calling. (Steve Brown).

Kilkenny      Around the viewpoint butterflies included a worn Chalkhill Blue, Common
Blues, Red Admiral, Peacock, Small Tortoiseshell, Small Heath and a worn

Avening     At Star Farm a large trailing flock of more than 370 Swifts flying S and some W between 3pm and 3:20 pm, with more birds still coming. (Terry Grant).
