Forest of Dean    This morning at Woorgreens a Tree Pipit, two Siskins and a male Tufted Duck. Also three Downy Emeralds on Woorgreens lake margins. Gloucester     A Red Kite quartering a field beside the A40 Northern bypass, just N of Elmbridge Court Roundabout at 10:25am. (Steven Parker). A Kestrel calling and flying low over The Clock Tower park, Abbeydale and over gardens in Bullfinch today. (Lorraine Besent).

Cherington     Around the lake mid afternoon two pairs of Grey Wagtails, three Moorhens, two Coots, a Grey Heron, two Mute Swans, a Green Woodpecker, a male Greenfinch, three Blackcaps and two Chiffchaffs. (John Fletcher).

Hucclecote     This morning a female Green Woodpecker in the garden, the second one this year. Three Goldfinches in a neighbouring garden and a male Sparrowhawk took a House Sparrow. (Harold Smith).

Awre     A SHORT-EARED OWL at 1:40pm, then flew across the river towards Slimbridge at 1:45pm. (Lewis Thomson).

Sherborne Meadows     This morning four Red Kites, a Barn Owl, a Kingfisher, two Ravens, a Marsh Tit, six Reed Warblers, four Garden Warblers, four Treecreepers and seven Reed Buntings. Nearby in the Windrush Airfield area three Red Kites, a Little Owl, eight Yellow Wagtails and 11 Corn Buntings. Gloucester    On and around Alney Island this afternoon a Cuckoo, a Yellowhammer, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Goldcrest, a Song Thrush and two Buzzards. (Simon Hart).

Berkeley      A Red Kite flew over Old Brookend heading towards Slimbridge at 6:06pm. (Clare Glanville).

Bridgend     At 5pm three Red Kites circling northwards towards Stonehouse and another at 6:30pm going directly over the house and towards Stonehouse. (Paul Sutton).

Cobney Meadows     Two Mute Swans, two Canada Geese still with goslings, a Tufted Duck, two Grey Herons, four Curlews, two singing Redstarts, 5+ Sedge Warblers, 2+ Whitethroats and 2+ Reed Buntings. (Mike Smart).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A GLOSSY IBIS this morning on the scrape from Grundon hide until 10:30am before flying W. Then seen again between 12-12:30pm skulking in the reeds. (Les Fisher/Chris Morris). Aylburton Common     This morning a ROSE-COLOURED STARLING landed on a house along Sandford Road briefly at 9:30am, then flew off S towards the river. Likely the one seen later at Oldbury PS, South Glos from 9:55am. (Jonny Gentle).

Winchcombe    A HONEY BUZZARD disturbed from Langley Hill wood above Winchcombe at 6:10 pm this evening. It flew N towards Evesham and into Worcestershire. (Steve Owen).
