WWT Slimbridge     Mid morning a FULMAR  is flying around the estuary over high tide, then flew S towards Mid Point. (Martin McGill). From Mid point a Grey Plover, three Sanderlings, 11 Ringed Plovers, five Dunlins and a Grasshopper Warbler still reeling. Two Great White Egrets about the site and the Ross’s Goose on the Tack Piece. Dymock     At Leadon Vale Farm today a Peregrine swooped over  the rookery down into field less than 100m away then sharp turn up and over towards village. Also a pair of Bullfinches in the hedgerow near the house and a Cuckoo heard. (Mark Woodall).

Saul Warth    At high tide this morning three Ringed Plovers, an Oystercatcher, five Shelducks, two Mute Swans on the river and dozens of Herring Gulls and Lesser Black-backed Gulls. Also 30+ House Martins, 15+ Swifts and an adult Tawny Owl. (MK).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Almost a total washout, there is now no island to the north so the last Avocet nest has been lost. An Oystercatcher chick and two Lapwing chicks have survived. Also a Yellow Wagtail, a Cuckoo and a pair of Great Crested Grebes. (Ian Hull). At dusk two Mute Swans, a pair of Canada Geese with six goslings, a male Wigeon, a male Gadwall, a pair of Tufted Ducks, a pair of Coots, two Oystercatchers, c5 Lapwings and 1-2 tiny chicks, three Curlews came in to roost, three Redshanks, a pair of Yellow Wagtails and a Pied Wagtail. On the River Severn above Haw Bridge 2+ Curlews, a Redstart singing and eight Linnets. Dymock     Recent sightings from Leadon Vale Farm include a pair of Swallows nesting in the barn after 2 years absence, a MERLIN flying E, several small groups of up to 8 Swifts, a Kestrel, a Sparrowhawk and six Buzzards. (Mark Woodall).
