Cirencester     A pair of Peregrines on the tower of the church of St John the Baptist adjacent to the old Abbey grounds today. They were calling loudly, and the male passed a large bird wing in mid air to the female over the market square. (Sarah Dearlove).

Symonds Yat     From Yat Rock viewpoint today the resident Peregrine pair and the Strathdon Cliff Peregrine pair nearby, two Goshawks (juv & ad), two Red Kites, two Sparrowhawks (m & f), 13 Buzzards, including a mating pair, a nesting pair of Ravens, a Kingfisher pair excavating a nest hole, Stock Doves, a Green Woodpecker calling, five Goosanders (2m, 3f), two Goldcrests, a large Redwing flock and Long-tailed Tits. Horsley     A Barn Owl hunting at 5:17pm at ST811978. This field is just east of Pyke Quarry Recycling (centre aka “Horsley tip”), N of the B4058 where it turns from heading W to sharp S at the T junction by South Lodge. Probably the same bird hunting 18/02/20 at 3:30pm. (David Bullock).
