Walmore Common     Two Mute Swans, 20 Greylags, three Shelducks, 198 Wigeon, 70+ Teal, 20 Mallards, 16 Shovelers, 80 Lapwings, 12 Lesser Black-backed Gulls and 30 Black-headed Gulls. (Mike Smart).

WWT Slimbridge    Four Bewick’s Swans  flew over the Rushy and landed on Tack Piece this morning. (Kane Brides/Steve Heaven). On the Rushy 31 Pintails and 47 Pochards. Ten White-fronted Geese (3 juvs) feeding on the Dumbles and three White-fronted Geese on the Bottom New Piece and a Bar-headed Goose with the Barnacles. Saul Warth     This afternoon, 30 Mute Swans, five Grey Herons, two Little Egrets, 17 Curlews, a pair of Stonechats, a Chiffchaff singing still and a pair of Grey Wagtails. Also a Common Darter. Nearby 31+ Little Egrets flushed from Saul horse paddocks at 3:45pm by a dog walker. (MK).

Prestbury     c40 Redwings flew over the centre of Prestbury at 8:39am. 26 Fieldfares at 11:48am just to the N of Prestbury. (Ken Heron).

Naunton     At Harford Bridge today a Great White Egret, a Little Egret, eight Canada Geese, nine Mute Swans (7 juv, 2 ads), two  Moorhens and 12 Redwings and two Fieldfares over. (Phil Steele).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Not accessible from the Wharf, canal banks under water, so approach from the Apperley side. Birds today included three Mute Swans, 700 Greylags, 500 Canada Geese, a Barnacle Goose, 100 Wigeon, five Gadwalls, 20 Teal, 35 Mallards, eight Pintails, 20 Shovelers, three Grey Herons, 12 Coots and 40 Pied Wagtails feeding at the flood edge. Maisemore     Along Church Road, at the lake and on to the weir this afternoon birds included five Redwings, four Fieldfares, a Mistle Thrush, 35+ Goldfinches, two Little Grebes, a Cormorant, a female Kestrel, three Buzzards and 16 Red-legged Partridges. (John Fletcher).

The Tawny Owl returned to the regular winter roost, a female Red Crested Pochard and the male Pochard x Ferruginous Duck hybrid and 34 Pochards on the Sailing Lake.
