Saul Warth     This afternoon, a Rock Pipit flew from the Warth to the rocks at Hock Ditch, calling, 1000+ Black-headed Gulls on the Warth, three Avocets with 50+ Shelducks on The Noose on the river. Also two Red Admirals and two Painted Ladies. (MK).

Stinchcombe Hill     This morning a Wheatear, three Stonechats, five Chiffchaffs, a Blackcap, a few Meadow Pipits over, at least 70 Goldfinches and 55 Pied Wagtails. (James Robinson).

Frampton pools     A Hobby, two Green Sandpipers, 24 Chiffchaffs, three Blackcaps, 75 Robins, 12 Swallows, five House Martins, a Pintail, two Pochards, 22 Shovelers, 23 Teal, eight Gadwalls, 20 Tufted Ducks, 308 Coots and a Grey Wagtail. (Nick Goatman).

Frampton     On the flashes N of Splatt Bridge at high tide this morning a first-winter Mediterranean Gull with 500+ Black-headed Gulls, three Little Egrets, two Grey Herons, a Hobby, two Buzzards, 100+ Swallows, c10House Martins, a Whinchat, two Chiffchaffs, 30+ Meadow Pipits, 4+ Skylarks and both Water Rail and Cetti’s Warbler heard. Longney    A dark morph juvenile HONEY BUZZARD flew down river this morning at 9:15am. Also a Whinchat with Reed Buntings. (Brian Kings).

Coombe Hill Meadows     The LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER still today from the Grundon hide until 7:15am only when it flew off, and no further sign by 12:45pm. Also an unconfirmed report of a White-rumped Sandpiper at 12:15pm very briefly. (RBA per Paul Taylor).

Berkeley shore      A first year Mediterranean Gull flew past NE, three Turnstones, a Whinchat and five Wheatears. Also a female/juvenile Marsh Harrier flew NE at 10:55am. (Paul Taylor).

Frampton     At Splatt flashes 450 Black-headed Gull, three Mediterranean Gulls (2 1st winter, 1 2nd winter) and a first-winter Common Tern. (Gordon Hodgson).

Saul Warth     At high tide three Wigeon (2m, 1f), a juvenile Common Gull, 40+ Meadow Pipits, 6+ Skylarks, six Linnets, a Kestrel, 50+ Swallows and a House Martin flew S. (MK).

Nailsworth     A Barn Owl over ‘The Poplars’ at 11:45pm and three male Tawny Owls calling. (Jake King).

Sharpness     A MANX SHEARWATER briefly off of Coastguards at 7:20am. Then off of Middle Point at 9:10am (Martin McGill) and finally off of Hock Ditch at 9:50am. It was drifting back down in the middle of the river at 10:25am. Also a female Stonechat and a female Sparrowhawk. (MK).
