Forest of Dean     At Parkend cricket ground five Hawfinch (3f, 2m), one of the males with metal right, lime green left, was ringed near Cinderford in Spring 2010, making it the second oldest UK bird. Records of any other colour ringed birds gratefully received. (Jerry Lewis).

Bathurst     Six Bramblings with a flock of Chaffinches at Bathurst saw mills on the newly planted area adjacent to the A419. (Eric Haines).

Coombe Hill Meadows     At first light four Mute Swans, 50 Canada Geese, five Shelducks, 240 Wigeon, 50 Teal, two Gadwall, 40 Shovelers, four Tufted Ducks, two Peregrines, eight Curlews and five singing Reed Buntings. (Mike Smart).

Symonds Yat     In the Yat Rock area today the resident Peregrine pair and the adult Peregrine pair still on Great Doward Hill nearby, three Goshawks, a Red Kite, a female Sparrowhawk, eight Buzzards, Ravens, a Kingfisher, a Mistle Thrush, two Stock Doves, a male Goosander, two Siskins, Long-tailed Tits, a Wren, a Tawny Owl calling and a Green Woodpecker. Gloucester    A Little Egret on Wotton Brook by the Cheltenham Road/Estcourt Road roundabout in Oxstalls Campus Grounds, easily visible from the pavement, for its second day. (Emerson Furlonger).
