Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning birds included four Mute Swans, three Canada Geese, 18 Shelducks, 160 Wigeon, eight Gadwalls, 250 Teal, 30 Mallards, 35 Pintails, 30 Shovelers, two Tufted Ducks, a Buzzard, 150 Lapwings, a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming, c10 Fieldfares and a Reed Bunting. (Mike Smart).

Tewkesbury     At Lower Lode brickpits still 52 Mute Swans on ryegrass, 17 Canada Geese flew over N, three Gadwalls, three Teal, 15 Cormorants and a Snipe today. (Mike Smart).

Sharpness     The BLACK REDSTART showed on and off from 10am until 10:55am, then it flew into the Docks. It wasn’t relocated until 12:08pm inside the dry dockyard then it flew across the water into buildings around Navigation House. It can be very elusive at times. Westbury-on-Severn     The YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER at Westbury Sewage works again this afternoon at SO716133 showing well at 1pm. (John Phillips). There’s practically no parking near the sewage works and it would be best to park in Westbury and take the footpath through the churchyard towards Westbury Strand.  You can see the sewage works from a distance, it’s surrounded by a conifer screen.

Gloucester     A male BLACK REDSTART on the roof of the Telephone Exchange in Bull Lane at 1:30pm on the Berkeley ST side. Probably present since Friday 18th but not confirmed until today. The roof is extensive with lots of hiding places so it could be hard to see. (Emerson Furlonger).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Birds today included three Mute Swans, 15 Canada Geese, a Greylag, eight Shelducks, 150 Wigeon, five Gadwalls, 120 Teal, 40 Mallards, 50 Shovelers, 40 Pintails, eight Tufted Ducks, three Grey Herons, 41 Lapwings, a Snipe, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers drumming and 15 Fieldfares. Tewkesbury     At Mitton, along the Avon above Tewkesbury (last field before the boundary with Worcs), really nice conditions as the farmer has blocked a drain to create habitat, 135 Canada Geese, 730 Wigeon, 30 Teal and ten Shovelers. (Mike Smart).

Cotswold Water Park West     A YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER, found yesterday by Joanna Hutchinson, still at 11:35am at Lower Mill opposite Pit 44 at the junction of the streams at the first passing place. The 5th in Glos this year. An ICELAND GULL on Pit 57 this afternoon in the roost. Also a Great White Egret and 13 Goosanders (6m) on Pit 41. (Graham Lawlor).

Nailsworth     A female Grey Wagtail in the garden again. At Field Farm (ST812993) 200+ mixed corvids, Jackdaws, Carrion Crows and Rooks,  30+ Stock Doves, 40+ Woodpigeons, 30+ Skylarks, a Jay, a Buzzard and a mixed finch flock on stubble. (Jake King).

Edge     Along Sevenleaze Lane mid afternoon centred on SO861124 from the track entrance to Spoonbed Farm birds included nine Linnets, 60+ Goldfinches, 35 Chaffinches, a Brambling, a Mistle Thrush, two Pied Wagtails, seven Grey Partridges, 11 Red-legged Partridges and two Buzzards. Halmore     A male and female Tawny Owls calling tonight. At least one male has been heard most nights this month. (Chris Newton).
