Westbury-on-Severn     The YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER at Westbury Sewage works again this afternoon until 3pm at least at SO716133. There’s practically no parking near the sewage works and it would be best to park in Westbury and take the footpath through the churchyard towards Westbury Strand.  You can see the sewage works from a distance, it’s surrounded by a conifer screen. The bird was spending most of its time in the single conifer by one of the treatment beds. (John Phillips).

Highnam   The six adult Whooper Swans were on the field of oilseed rape at SO800186, also viewable from the layby on the A48. They flew off together W and were refound in the depression between Minsterworth and Churcham, through which the Long Brook runs, in a bright green field near the railway line at SO 775178 and viewable from Minsterworth Village Hall car park. On the pond at Linton Farm, five Canada Geese, a Shelduck, a female Wigeon, at least sixty Mallards, two male Tufted Ducks and a Grey Wagtail nearby.
