Cotswold Water Park West     The YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER still at Lower Mill by the stream near Pit 44 today at 3pm briefly but very mobile. Westbury-on-Severn     The YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER at Westbury Sewage works again at SO716133 today until 3pm at least. Also a Chiffchaff. (Neil Tappin/Owen Follis). There’s practically no parking near the sewage works and it would be best to park in Westbury and take the footpath through the churchyard towards Westbury Strand.  You can see the sewage works from a distance, it’s surrounded by a conifer screen.

Weston-sub-Edge   A flock c150-200 mixed finches this afternoon at SP131387 The Narrows, mainly Goldfinches but including several Corn Buntings, Yellowhammers, Linnets, at least two Reed Buntings, and a leucistic Chaffinch. (Michael Cook).

Stroud     A pair of Mandarins on the canal at Bowbridge. (Keith & Lyn Perkins).

Compton Abdale     A flock of 500 Fieldfares this morning. (Duncan Dine).

Ashleworth Ham     This afternoon birds included 55 Teal, 23 Wigeon, three Mallards, four Shovelers, three Canada Geese, two Mute Swans, four Grey Herons, five Snipe, 294 Lapwings, four Red-legged Partridges, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, 40 Linnets, a Redwing, 23 Fieldfares, nine Chaffinches, three Long-tailed Tits, two Buzzards and two Peregrines, one took a Lapwing, also two Roe Deer. Stonehouse     In Partridge Close today garden sightings included a Chiffchaff, male and female Blackcap, Long-tailed Tits, Coal Tits, two Pied Wagtails and 20 Starlings. (Chris Rodell).

Hawling     This afternoon just along the lane from Southdown Farm, in and around a stubbly/weedy/set-aside field, birds included 200-300+ Yellowhammers, up to 50 Corn Buntings, a male Reed Bunting, 50-60 Skylarks, Linnets, 30+ Stock Doves, a Peregrine flew past heading steadily W, a Sparrowhawk, a Buzzard and c15 Red-legged Partridges.
