Awre     A GREY PHALAROPE on the river between 11:30-12MD, it was flushed and chased briefly by a Peregrine at 12MD & not seen again. Also at least three Arctic Terns, an adult and two juveniles, around high tide. (John Phillips). Earlier in the morning a Red Kite flew north at 8:15am. Also a Grasshopper Warbler, a Sedge Warbler, a Reed Warbler, a Whitethroat, a Wheatear and 131 Meadow Pipits flew SW. (Andy Jayne).

Sharpness     A SHAG from SARA at 7am. At high tide today six Arctic Terns (I suspect this was the total for the high tide today from all sites) and a GUILLEMOT at 1:04pm. (Duncan Dine/Mark Dowie/Jake King/Geoff Moyser/Paul Taylor). An adult GANNET was off Berkeley Pill before flying N past SARA towards the Dumbles at 3:50pm. (Roberta Goodall/Tom Weston-McClung).

Lydney     At Lydney Harbour a MANX SHEARWATER flew upriver at 12:55pm.(Andy Jayne/Arron Roberts).

Guscar Rocks     A MANX SHEARWATER flew strongly downriver at 3:10pm, but then seen again going back up towards Berkeley Pill. Also a juvenile LITTLE GULL, two adult and one juvenile Arctic Terns, an Oystercatcher and nearby at Plusterwine two Ravens, a Whinchat, a female Stonechat and a Wheatear. (Andy Jayne).

Frampton     At the Sailing Lake this morning the GREAT WHITE EGRET, the adult Yellow-legged Gull, 50+ Sand Martins, five Little Egrets, two Green Sandpipers and 30+ Meadow Pipits over. Additionally this evening Little Egrets increased to 14, a Peregrine, three Water Rails, Green Sandpipers increased to eight, a Willow Warbler, 15 Chiffchaffs, 26 Teal and eight Shovelers. Berkeley shore     This evening an Egyptian Goose flew E over the estuary (patch tick) with c300 Canada Geese at 7pm also six Wheatears. (Paul Taylor).

Symonds Yat     From Yat Rock viewpoint today an OSPREY, the Peregrine pair, a female Sparrowhawk, a Goshawk, 16 Buzzards up together, two female Goosanders, Swallows and House Martins feeding over the Wye, Ravens, a Grey Heron, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, Stock Doves, a Mistle Thrush, nine Siskins, and a Jay. Other sightings included Red Admiral, Small Tortoiseshell, Speckled Wood and Comma butterflies, a Hummingbird Hawkmoth, a Fallow Deer and a Bank Vole. Sharpness     Two juvenile SHAGS on the Severn estuary off Coastguards at 6:35pm. (Paul Taylor). A MANX SHEARWATER flew past SARA towards Berkeley Pill at 12:20pm. Also at high tide 12 Cormorants, six Redshanks, two Common Sandpipers, a Curlew and a Little Egret. (Roberta Goodall/MK).

Berkeley shore     Another MANX SHEARWATER sat on the water in addition to the SARA bird. Also 22+ Redshanks, six Grey Herons, a Curlew, a Peregrine, a Common Sandpiper, six Meadow Pipits, two Chiffchaffs and two Wheatears. (Tom Weston-McClung).

Frampton     At the Sailing Lake the adult Yellow-legged Gull, 30+ Swallows, 100+ Sand Martins, a few House Martins, two Green Sandpipers, a Grey Wagtail, two Curlews and 23 Meadow Pipits. (Nick Goatman).

Newport     Two Swifts heading S this morning. (Keith Davies).

WWT Slimbridge     On the Top New Piece a juvenile Curlew Sandpiper today.  (Slimbridge Sightings).

Standish     A Peregrine on a kill in a stubble field and a Buzzard flew in and stole the kill. The Peregrine continues hunting. (Roy Widgery).

Frampton     At the Sailing Lake the GREAT WHITE EGRET, the adult Yellow-legged Gull, three Green Sandpipers, 50+ Sand Martins, 30+ Swallows and 10+ House Martins this morning. In the evening a Swift, 18 Shovelers, 16 Teal, a Pochard, six Green Sandpipers and two Tawny Owls. (Nick Goatman). Later ten Cormorants, three Little Egrets and 55+ Tufted Ducks. (MK).

Arlingham     Seven Grey Herons at SO694100 at 7:10am on the opposite side of the river to Bullo Pill Dock. (Tony Seabright).

Painswick Beacon     Birds this morning included 145 Common Gulls, 190 Swallows, 67 Meadow Pipits, ten Siskins, two Yellow Wagtails , three Tree Pipits, four Crossbills and a Corn Bunting. (John Fleming).

Rodborough Common     Two Redstarts, 140 Meadow Pipits, 100 Swallows, a Yellow Wagtail, a Grey Wagtail, a Yellowhammer, five House Martins and 12 Mistle Thrushes on the Common this morning. (Duerden Cormack).

Frampton pools     An OSPREY flew through Court Lake at 2pm going S. (Tony Hurcombe). At the Sailing Lake tonight a Greenshank, two Green Sandpipers, a Common Sandpiper, a GREAT WHITE EGRET, the adult Yellow-legged Gull, eight Little Egrets, 80 Tufted Ducks, 14 Teal and 80+ Sand Martins. Bisley /Battlecombe valley     An adult male Goshawk at 8:45am flew S, six Buzzards, 12+ Chiffchaffs, four Stock Doves, three Marsh Tits, a Bullfinch, five Nuthatches, 28+ Swallows, two Coal Tits, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, two Whitethroats, two Blackcaps, two Goldcrests, three Jays, four Ravens, a Red-legged Partridge, eight House Martins, a Mistle Thrush, a female Sparrowhawk mobbed by Swallows, a Yellowhammer and 35+House Sparrows on stubble. Hempsted     A Lesser Whitethroat, 8+ Chiffchaffs, three Swallows, a Grey Wagtail and two Green Woodpeckers at Netheridge Farm today. (Mark Hobson).

WWT Slimbridge     From Zeiss Hide high tide pushed in two Curlew Sandpipers, three Sanderlings, 133 Dunlins and 40 Ringed Plovers. Also nine Ruff and two Green Sandpipers.  (Slimbridge Sightings).

Cleeve Hill     Three Whinchats, plenty of Stonechats, two Spotted Flycatchers, two Tree Pipits, a Yellowhammer, a Raven and a Kestrel. (Ashley Davies).

Arlingham     A Little Owl sat on a barn roof  S of Arlingham Church at 7:30pm. (Tony Seabright).

Robinswood Hill      Eight Ravens together flew low across the hill this evening and two Buzzards unsettled by them. (Ian Elphick).

Painswick Beacon     Birds today included 260 Common Gulls, 140 Black-headed Gulls, 240 Ravens (between 3-5pm), 126 Swallows, two Grey Wagtails, a Yellow Wagtail, a Spotted Flycatcher, a Whinchat and four Swifts. (John Fleming).

Ashleworth Ham     A non-CES ringing session caught 32 birds including a juvenile Blackcap, four Chiffchaffs, a Redstart, a Willow Warbler and six Reed Buntings. Also 50+ Swallows hawking insects, two Meadow Pipits, two Whitethroats, an adult male Redstart and a Whinchat. (Mervyn Greening/Mike Smart).

Painswick Beacon     Birds today between 10:30am-1:20pm included 4450 House Martins, 438 Swallows, three Sand Martins, 15 Common Gulls, a Tree Pipit, eight Buzzards, two Sparrowhawks, a Hobby and a Crossbill all SW. (John Fleming).

Hardwicke     A male Whinchat and a Pied Wagtail on recently stripped  ground at SO8078712397 today at 11:02am and a Kestrel hunting over rough scrub nearby. (Michael Cook).

Nailsworth     Between 4pm and 6pm three Swifts, 850+ House Martins, 120+ Swallows and a Hobby. (Terry Grant).

Rodborough Common     A Swift over this afternoon at 5pm. (Colin Greenfield).

Thrupp     A Swift feeding with 75+ House martins over Thrupp this evening. (Martin Wright).

Bagpath     In the area late afternoon at least six Yellow Wagtails and three Wheatears. (Paul Rich).

Cirencester     A Kingfisher on the River Churn behind Barton Lane this evening. (Jon Mercer).

WWT Slimbridge     Highlights today included 1+ Sanderling at Mid Point, a Spotted Redshank from Zeiss hide, a Hobby and a juvenile Mediterranean Gull on South Lake, a juvenile Little Ringed Plover on the Rushy and a Marsh Harrier from Holden Tower.  (Ashley Davies/Paul Rich/Slimbridge Sightings).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Shorncote Reedbed approaching Pit 85B from the pathway a Kestrel, three Whinchats, four Swallows, six Willow Warblers, two Sedge Warblers and two Spotted Flycatchers. At Pit 85B four Kingfishers, a Water Rail heard, two Buzzards, a Kestrel, four Reed Warblers, two Grey Herons, a Cormorant and seven Mute Swans (5 large juvs). At Pit 85A 18 Gadwalls, a Common Sandpiper, 121 Canada Geese over, a Little Egret, a Grey Heron and a Sedge Warbler. (John Fletcher).
