WWT Slimbridge     At least seven Mediterranean Gulls on site today including five first-summers, a second-summer and an adult, best looked for on the Rushy and South Lake.  (Slimbridge Sightings).

Tewkesbury     A pair of Egyptian Geese near the weir on the small beach today. (Sarah Loaring).

Forest of Dean     NIGHTJARS are back in the Forest with four seen last night and Woodcocks are roding. Best looked for at the usual traditional sites. (Arron Roberts).

Saul Warth     An immature LITTLE GULL again this morning. Also two Avocets and a Whimbrel. (Roy Widgery).

Frampton     An immature LITTLE GULL on the Sailing Lake this morning, probably the Saul bird. Also five Common Terns, two Yellow Wagtails, 80+ Swifts, 150+ Sand Martins,  50+ House Martins and 20+ Swallows. (Nick Goatman).

Tewkesbury     On Severn Ham at least three Curlews, a singing Corn Bunting again, at least eight singing Sedge Warblers and a Cuckoo. (Mike Smart).

Coombe Hill Meadows     From Grundon hide birds included seven Blackcaps, six Skylarks, 2+ Whitethroats, three Linnets, four Swifts, 25+ Swallows, two Pied Wagtails, 4+ Sedge Warblers, a Reed Warbler, nine Reed Buntings, two Cuckoos, two Oystercatchers, a pair of Mute Swans with eight cygnets, eight Lapwings plus two chicks, two Redshanks, a Curlew, two Little Ringed Plovers, a Little Egret, a Grey Heron, 17 Canada Geese, four Greylags, a Kestrel and two Buzzards. Frampton    Two GREAT WHITE EGRETS flew N past Splatt Bridge at 7:45pm, a Hobby hunting over Court Lake at 8:20pm and also an Oystercatcher. (Duerden Cormack). At the pools late morning a LITTLE GULL, 6+ Common Terns, 3+ Yellow Wagtails, two Whitethroats, a Sedge Warbler and 10+ Swifts. (Paul Rich). Forest of Dean     At Flaxley woods two Spotted Flycatchers, three Firecrests, a Redstart, a Siskin, a Lesser Redpoll and a Raven this morning. (Ian Ralphs).

Symonds Yat     From the viewpoint today the resident Peregrines and an intruding juvenile Peregrine, three Goshawks, four Buzzards, a Kingfisher, a male Goosander, a pair of Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Green Woodpecker, Stock Doves, a pair of Mandarins, a pair of Pied Wagtails, Swifts, Swallows and House Martins. Coombe Hill Meadows     A Mute Swan pair with eight cygnets, four Shelducks, a pair of Gadwall, a Teal, a Grey Heron, two Oystercatchers, Lapwings, a Ringed Plover, two Little Ringed Plovers, six Dunlins, two Redshanks, two Curlews, a Snipe, two Cuckoos, a Grasshopper Warbler reeling in new meadows, a Reed Warbler, singing Sedge Warblers, Whitethroats and Reed Buntings in good numbers. Also a BLACK TERN, a dark phase ARCTIC SKUA, six Common Terns, 210 Dunlins, 165 Ringed Plovers, 11 Sanderlings, two Grey Plovers, two Bar-tailed Godwits, five Whimbrels, two Curlew, 32 Turnstones, three Redshanks, ten Oystercatchers, a first-summer Mediterranean Gull, a Yellow Wagtail, three Wheatears and two Cuckoos. Forest of Dean     At Speculation this afternoon,  a pair of Redstarts, a pair of Stock Doves, a Treecreeper  and a pair of Bluetits visiting  a nest hole in a tree,  but later this was predated by a Great Spotted Woodpecker. (Laurie Pierce).

Frampton     A second-summer Mediterranean Gull in ploughed field by Cools Farm then flew to the Sailing Lake. A Little Ringed Plover, a Greenshank and a Lapwing with three chicks all on Splatt Reedbed. (Gordon Hodgson).
