At Mid Point three Little Egrets, 18 Curlews, a Common Sandpiper, an Oystercatcher and Meadow Pipits feeding young. From Zeiss hide 30+ Lapwings, two pairs of Avocets with a chick, three Green Sandpipers, adult summer-plumaged Spotted Redshank, three Redshanks, two Little Ringed Plovers, eight Black-tailed Godwits, 60+ Dunlins and a female Common Crane, known as Ruby, with an unringed visiting bird of unknown origin. Nailsworth     An all day passage of Swifts moving S. A sample count between 1:50-2:20pm 83 Swifts and 2 or 3 Hobbies. (Terry Grant).

Leckhampton    Eight Swifts over the Leckhampton area at 5:45pm. (Michael Barwick).

Leighterton     Three Little Owls including at least one recently fledged juvenile. At least two further birds at Bowldown Farm, one of these was a recently fledged juvenile. Also this morning a female Wheatear at Hazelcote Farm. (Paul Rich).

Walmore Common     This morning two Whinchats, a Green Sandpiper, a Grey Wagtail and a Siskin flew over. Also three young Foxes hunting voles in a hay field. (Andy Jayne).
