Bibury    A Barn Owl at 9:30pm a mile E of Bibury over the B4425. (Jon Mercer).

Stroud     At Frome Banks N.R. at SO848049 birds included a pair of Dippers, two pairs of Nuthatches, a Treecreeper.a Mistle Thrush, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Chiffchaff, a pair of Grey Wagtails and two Speckled Wood butterflies. Also two more pairs of Grey Wagtails along the Stroudwater Canal/River Frome and three Mandarins (2m, 1f) on the canal. (Martyn Leighton).

Witcombe Reservoirs     Birds today included a pair of Mute Swans, eight Canada Geese, four Greylags, eight Mallards, a pair of Shovelers, 14 Tufted Ducks, three pairs of Great Crested Grebes, 3+ Little Grebes, nine Coots, nine Moorhens, six Cormorants, a Buzzard and a male Blackcap singing. Newnham-on Severn     The adult RING-BILLED GULL again from the White Hart Inn car park on a sandbank with Common Gulls at 3:20pm. (Trevor Fletcher). It arrived off of the car park downstream at 4:18pm with 40 Common Gulls. (Les Ditchburn). There seems to be only a short window of time to connect with this bird, it has arrived off of the car park at SO 69443 11902 for the last 3 days between 4:45-5:15pm. No-one has connected from the Arlingham side yet.

Westbury-on-Severn     The YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER still at Westbury Sewage works this week at SO716133. (John & Viv Phillips). A Swallow on wires this afternoon. (Les Ditchburn).

Gloucester     At Horsbere Brook Flood Storage Lake today birds included a pair of Mute Swans, three Mallards, two adult Little Grebes, a Little Egret, a Grey Heron, five Coots, seven Moorhens, a Buzzard and a pair of Pied Wagtails. (Gordon Avery).

Newnham-on-Severn     The adult RING-BILLED GULL again this afternoon on the sands on the River Severn at low tide at SO 69443 11902 near the car park from 4:45pm until 5:20pm when it flew downriver with 30 Common Gulls when the flock was spooked by a Cormorant.
