Sharpness     A male REDSTART at the picnic site. 17 KITTIWAKES flew N from the sandbar at Sharpness at 8:20am then seen at Saul Warth and an adult LITTLE GULL flew S. Two SANDWICH TERNS on the sandbar at 8:30am. Two LITTLE GULLS flew N with Black-headed Gulls at 9am. Two COMMON SCOTERS lingering off SARA at 12:30pm.  Also a Whitethroat, a Yellowhammer, two Mediterranean Gulls, three Willow Warblers and five Swallows. Gloucester     At Alney Island 27 Teal and five Shovelers on floodwater today. (Mark Grieve).

Newent     A Red Kite today. (Mark Grieve).

Cobney Meadows     Two pairs and a flock of ten non-breeding Mute Swans, nine Shelducks, two Gadwalls, 20+ Teal, two Curlews and a Little Owl sitting in an old pollarded willow. (Mike Smart).

Haw Bridge     On the East bank two Curlews and two singing Chiffchaffs. North of Haw bridge another two Curlews and a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming. (Mike Smart).

Tewkesbury     On Severn Ham a Little Egret flew over, two Great Crested Grebes on the flood, two Curlews, three Sand Martins and 96 Carrion Crows today. (Mike Smart).

Coombe Hill Meadows     No access to hides due to flooding. Birds today included a Black Swan, a Skylark, a Chiffchaff seen and others heard, a Buzzard and a Sparrowhawk. Also three Roe Deer. (Luke Clarke).

Tresham     A male Wheatear and 188 Stock Doves in a field near Tresham.

Ozleworth     131 Stock Doves near the Goose Green radio mast near Ozleworth, and 42 Stock Doves in an adjoining field at the same time and 50+ Stock Doves in fields near the Wotton, Dursley, Horsley junction A 4135. Also a Red Kite near Calcot Manor. (Terry Grant).

Churchdown     A female Brambling feeding on sunflower hearts in the garden today, a garden tick, also a Marsh Tit, male and female Great Spotted Woodpeckers, three Goldfinches and male and female Chaffinches. (Colin & Ingrid Twissell).
