Coombe Hill Meadows     Four Mute Swans, ten Greylags, four Shelducks, a male Wigeon, three Gadwalls, a male Shoveler, two Little Egrets, four Grey Herons, two Oystercatchers tending two chicks (hatched on 27 May), c8 Lapwings, a Black-tailed Godwit, two Curlews, two Redshanks, a Cuckoo, 25 Swifts, a Redstart, a Cetti’s Warbler, c5 Sedge Warblers, c4 Whitethroats, a Lesser Whitethroat and c5 Reed Buntings. Ashleworth Ham/Hasfield Ham     Three Lapwings possibly nesting on the reserve, a Redstart, 2-3 Sedge Warblers, two Whitethroats and three Reed Buntings today. (Les Brown/Mike Smart).

Tirley area     In the Town Street Farm/Haw Bridge/Tirley area, a Spotted Flycatcher, a Red Kite, two Curlews, six Stock Doves, 4+ Swifts, 16+ House Martins, 8+ Swallows, eight Blackcaps, three Chiffchaffs, two Whitethroats and four Redstarts (3m, 1f). (Mark Grieve).

Cheltenham     A Red Kite over the garden at 12:30pm, a garden tick, mobbed by one of the Peregrine pair nesting at Christchurch in Malvern Road. (Jonathan Angliss).

Tibberton     At least two Red Kites seen over the Huntley Road during the last few days. (Carol Kempson).

Cotswold Water Park West     The female RED-FOOTED FALCON again at Pit 72 (Wilts) caught a dragonfly over the pit then flew into Glos airspace at 3:38pm. (MK).

Coates     Early this morning at Hailey Wood along the Wysis Way at 7:20am a male LESSER SPOTTED WOODPECKER, heard and then seen in flight at SO9586401556. Also a female Sparrowhawk, five Chiffchaffs, a Wood Warbler, a Willow Warbler, a Great Spotted Woodpecker , a Tree Pipit, three Jays, two Coal Tits, a Spotted Flycatcher, three Blackcaps, two Whitethroats, a Female and three juvenile Bullfinches just fledged, two Nuthatches, a Tree Creeper, c12 Roe Deer and a Muntjac. Cleeve Hill     A Hobby flying N along the escarpment, just N of Cleeve Cloud at

Forest of Dean     Recent records include four Nightjars last night, also three Woodcocks and three Nightjars on Friday. (Andy Chapman/Clive Holman). A Hobby over Parkend and a male Pied Flycatcher and three Spotted Flycatchers at Nagshead today. (Andrew Whittaker). Around the Woorgreens/Crabtree Hill area Great Spotted Woodpecker, Whitethroat, Linnet, Stonechat, Tree Pipit and Willow Warbler. A Cuckoo calling from top of tall pine before flying across the clear fell, a Spotted Flycatcher near the kissing gate entrance to Woorgreens and a Firecrest in the trees opposite Yew Tree Brake. (Tim & Rose Smith). At Wenchford a Wood Warbler, two pairs of Song Thrushes, a Dipper, Chiffchaffs, six Grey Wagtails including young and a Great Spotted Woodpecker. (Chris & Phil Andrews).

Highnam Woods     At least three, possibly four Nightingales singing this evening. One briefly showed in front of the hide. Also a Marsh Tit. (Ashley Davies).

Symonds Yat     From Yat Rock viewpoint the resident Peregrines and a chick showing well, an intruding Peregrine (pic by Phil), a Kestrel, a Tawny Owl calling, Ravens with juveniles, a male Bullfinch, a Goldcrest, a Green Woodpecker, two Pied Wagtails, a Kingfisher, a pair of Mandarins and a Siskin. Also six Fallow Deer and a Holly Blue butterfly. Tewkesbury     A Red Kite over Gupshill at 11am. (Craig Lewis).

Sheepscombe     Around SO878114 and along Painswick Stream birds included five Buzzards, a Green Woodpecker, two Nuthatches, 12 Goldfinches, seven Chiffchaffs and a Treecreeper. (John Fletcher).

Tirley Sandpits     Five Chiffchaffs, six Blackcaps, 9 +Skylark, 8+ Whitethroats, 9+ Swallows, 17 Linnets, six House Martins, two Green Woodpeckers, four Stock Doves, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, five Ravens, two Yellowhammers and four Greylags over N. (Mark Grieve).

Oakridge     At Strawberry Banks GWT 25+ Marsh Fritillaries and 2/3 each of Holly Blues, Common Blues and Dingy Skippers.  At the crossroads just NE of the village a Spotted Flycatcher on a gatepost. (Steve Brown).

Forest of Dean     At least 18 Crossbills over Yew Tree Brake today. (Frank Williams).

WWT Slimbridge     78 Avocets around the scrapes this morning. (@slimbridge_wild).

Frampton    A Nightingale singing in the wash pool area this evening. Also three Yellow Wagtails, a few Swifts and four Common Terns.

Longney     Five Yellow Wagtails in the corn at Longney Crib (4 males) and a Cuckoo singing over the other side of the river. (Jeremy Squire).

Frampton Mansell     A male Yellow Wagtail this afternoon  along the track heading W parallel to the A419. Also a Red Kite flew over and circled the area for a few minutes. (Martine Fenn).

Stonehouse     A Red Kite flew over high at Bridgend at 3:25pm and headed E towards Selsley. (Paul Sutton).

Corse     A Red Kite over Greenfields/Shotts Farm today. (Steve French). At Woorgreens today there were three Cuckoos, a Whitethroat, two pairs of Stonechats and a white Fallow Deer. (Gavin Black). Forest of Dean    At Nagshead this morning, on the short trail two male Pied Flycatchers, two Spotted Flycatchers, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Treecreeper and several singing Goldcrests.  A Wood Warbler at the top of the long trail, also a Wild Boar. At Moseley Green, opposite the entrance to the Rising Sun Inn, a Redstart and a Tree Pipit both singing, a Raven and a Great Spotted Woodpecker.  Just S of Upper Soudley four Fallow Deer. WWT Slimbridge      A Short-eared Owl from Mid Point, another Red Kite over today, a drake GARGANEY from the South Finger hides and a Goosander flew through. (@slimbridge_wild/Arron Roberts).

Frampton     1000+ Swifts and 300+ House Martins with a few Sand Martins and Swallows over the pools this evening, also three Yellow Wagtails and five Common Terns. (Nick Goatman).

Frampton     Five new Yellow Wagtails in this evening, also beware the white-bellied Common Swift (causing Alpine Fever) with 250+ Swifts and six Common Terns. (Nick Goatman).

Forest of Dean    In the Speculation and Sallowvallets area three Firecrests, four Wood Warblers, three Garden Warblers, two Spotted Flycatchers, a male Redstart, a Tree Pipit, a Hawfinch and two Ravens. At least ten Crossbills in flight near Harrow Hill and two Muntjacs here as well. (Andy Jayne).

Cherington     At Cherington Lake ST898985 today birds included two Grey Wagtails, two Marsh Tits, 4+ Blackcaps, five Chiffchaffs, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, two Buzzards and a Grey Heron. (John Fletcher).

Witcombe Reservoirs    Four adult Little Grebes with lots of trilling and squabbling. Also the Little Owl was roosting in the same Ash tree near Great Witcombe. (Gord & Margaret Avery).

Naunton     Along the Windrush near Lower Harford this afternoon two pairs of Bullfinches, a Redstart heard and a Grey Heron. (Keith White).

Gloucester     At Horsebere Brook Flood Storage Lake two Mute Swans, nine Mallards including 3 females with different sized broods, four Little Egrets, a juvenile Grey Heron, six adult Coots plus two well grown young, 6+ Moorhens and a male Kestrel today. (Gord & Margaret Avery).

Aston Down-Tarlton area     A Lesser Whitethroat singing near Aston Down SO924008, a male Yellow Wagtail on a dung heap near Lowes Moor SO934996 and a pair of Grey Partridges W of Tarlton village SO953994. (Graham Bullivant).

Ashleworth Ham     A pair of Shovelers, a pair of Mandarins, two Lapwings, two Shelducks, two Wigeon and a Chiffchaff. (Martin Russell).
Coombe Hill Meadows     From Grundon hide and along old canal banks
two Mute Swans with five cygnets, five Little Egrets, a Black-tailed Godwit, a Curlew, three Reed Buntings, two Grey Herons, a Gadwall, two Whitethroats (pic below by Martin), three Chiffchaffs, three Lapwings and a Cuckoo calling.
